DJ Gildy

There is in fact sound recorded. I can play the segment I recorded but there is still a flat line or a very minimal wave form. I've tried two divverent mics and two different USB ports and I am still getting a flat wave or or a minimal one that does not look like it used to.

For some reason when I am recording spoken word thru My mike it is a flat line No wave at all. When I import a track Like a song from My library the wave is there. but when I do My voice recording it is a flat like. Please help thanks in advance.
