Could this have anything to do with the Surround Sound Editor (which I haven't been able to figure out anyway)?

It's pretty clear to me that the problem is not the audio file itself, but an issue with the software.  I'm importing stereo music tracks to an "Untitled Track" timeline, and then after it's loaded that stereo track sounds mono during playback.  I've done nothing to the track except import it.  I feel like there's a setting I've missed or something!

I already clicked "Stereo" in that box, but the imported stereo files are still sounding totally mono.

I just can't figure this out -- it's very frustrating!

HELP!  After I load stereo music tracks into MixPad, they sound like mono when I listen to them with headphones.  What am I doing wrong??
