I have the same problem since upgrading to version 10.11. I can burn a CD. It registers that it burned. The disc shows that the files burned. However, when I attempt to play the disc on the same drive there is no sound. I have tried using multiple drives, multiple manufacturers of discs. The songs play but no sound is produced. If I trying burning the same material to a disc using different software I have no problems.
