I'm writing this in order to help others. I solved the problem. There are two separate files for each project you create: (your project).mpdp and (your project).Mpdp Project Data. The project Data file can become corrupted for any number of reasons. Computer updates, an electrical surge or blackout, you get the picture. If this happens, you must restore your project Data file by either downloading from a cloud back up or a back up hard disk. Then you're good to go. Hope this helps.

In addition, I went to clip manager and hit restore clip to original; that did not solve the problem. Is there any way to search for or recover wave files. They seem to be in Apple I Tunes.

I've been using mixed for about 8 months. A track/clip I recorded 2/24/2021 which has successfully played back numerous times until today 4/3/2021. The clip visually shows all the recorded info but does not sound. All other clips in this project playback successfully. All I did was open the project to do a rough mix. Did not mute or tough any volume controls. Any suggestions?
