  1. I often use the date in format 20210326 (YYYYMMDD), for example as the start of a file name, so that they are kept numerically in order. A text expander app is helpful for creating this file name. I cannot seem to get FastFox to do that. Am I correct, it seems FastFox is only capable of a very few formats for date and time and not customizable for this purpose. I tried editing the example shortcut that it comes with (I think it is something like CTRL-SHIFT-T, or something similar), but when I remove the dashes ("-"), from their keyboard entry, the thing just generates dates as YYYYMMDD.....and does not substitute the actual numbers. Is there an easy way to do this with FastFox? Am I missing something? Thanks
  2. I have used several text expander/macro software programs over the years. I am currently searching for a new one to work with Windows 10 and preferable most/all the apps that I commonly use. I downloaded a trial of FastFox to try.....and had a couple of questions. The first app that I tried using the shortcuts in was Microsoft Sticky note app, and I cannot get any of the shortcuts to work in this app. I think it must be app specific, since the same shortcuts in Microsoft Word or Notes/Wordpad seem to work fine. Any suggestions as to how to get this to be compatible with all my apps or text entry locations? I thought I read somewhere that it should work with all Windows apps.
