When uploading directly to Youtube, what is the purpose of granting access to NCH to my Google account? I have concerns about the security of my personal info, so granting access to it raises some concerns. I normally just save any slideshow files to my harddrive and then upload to Youtube but wanted to save a step this time and try uploading directly. Should I be concerned? Or is this a standard procedure?

Awesome, thank you for replying. I figured that was the reason but with all of the cyber security issues I was not entirely comfortable doing that. My mind is at ease now thanks.
