Thank you Borate! It is very close to what I need. The objects are different sizes and shapes of boxes. So I need the Spotlight effect, but in various polygon shapes. Do you know a filter that will do that?

There is an array of objects on a table. I want to cast a shadow over everything except for a specific object being addressed in narration. I don't want to black-out everything or make it disappear. I want the rest of the scene visible, but effectively under a shadow so that the subject appears highlighted. How can this be done? I can't figure it out. I have seen it in videos; maybe it requires something more capable than VideoPad?

I have version 8.96 Pro and I am able to change the duration of a whole sequence of image clips by clicking on the first clip, scrolling over to the last clip and holding down Shift while I click the last clip. That selects all of them. Then I right click on any of the clips and choose Change Duration. The clip preview window opens and highlights the duration in seconds, below the preview. I type in the duration I want there and hit Enter. When I do that, all of the clips change duration to match my new duration I just entered.
