  1. Thanks for this. I tried that but <ctrl A> selects absolutely every clip in the sequence, video and audio. I needed it to select everything to the right of a point in the sequence. For example, from 2:30 onwards, assuming there is a clear definition between clips each side of that time. I can select all video tracks to the right of that point by selecting the first clip, then with the 'shift' button held down click on a clip in the adjacent corner to the far right. That selects everything to the right of a point. But this method wouldn't work and include audio clips. I had to then individually select each audio clip. With a lot of audio clips that's a bit tedious. The solution I found is to first select and group all the video clips. Do the same for all the audio clips, and then group both groups together. It works. Sadly, as soon as you move them they all deselect. Not the end of the world, but would be good if they stayed selected so you could fine tune.
  2. Basically, I need to move everything in all tracks, audio and video, to the right. For example, I have 3 tracks, 2 video and 1 audio (actually there are many more). The audio is not linked to either video tracks. All of these need to remain in the same position in the sequence relevant to each other. So they must all move together. I can insert a gap into a single track, but then the other tracks are now out of position as they stayed where they were. Can anybody help please.
  3. This is recent, since I installed V11.64, which I only did because the version I just upgraded to (latest) put too big a load on my system. Jittery etc. I was using a very old version, 6.1, and it was fantastic. No problems at all. But this issue in 11.64 with moving clips is a project killer. The problem is that I simply can't drag a clip anywhere on the track. Once it is placed on the track it is in that position for good. I've tried the 'shift' and 'alt' buttons while dragging but neither work. I also can't drag between tracks. It won't drag anywhere at all. It can only be deleted and inserted again. This is a killer because I can't line up part of that audio clip with anything on another track. And placing it correctly initially is impossible because the point in the audio clip that needs to line up is within the clip, not at the beginning. Even trying to place the start of the clip is an issue. I have to try and line up the cursor with the point and that is almost impossible, unless I zoom it hugely. If I'm off by just a bit I have to delete and try again. This is so frustrating and I beggingly hope someone has an answer. Sorry, I can't share the project due to its sensitivity. -0- I worked out what is happening. If any video track is locked, and I mean any video track, you can't move any audio clip, even if the audio isn't linked to a video clip. In my project not one audio clip is connected to a video clip. But they still all get locked if I lock a video clip. It's as if they are connected and the audio tracked is locked, sort of, as you can still delete and add clips to the track. So I do have a workaround, but surely this functionality isn't intended.
  4. I've gone back to V11.64 64bit and most of this has gone away. The one I purchased was 13.45. Not sure if it was 64bit. But it was terrible. Couldn't really preview at all and the compiled video also had jittering. Anyway, the project has just 1 video file. The rest are images, so no huge videos to contend with. Just a pity I can't use the version I upgraded to from 6.1, believe it or not.
  5. I've just purchased and installed the latest version. But I'm having a problem with a jerky preview. Didn't have it with the older version I had. Is there any way to build the preview prior to viewing it, rather than on the fly? This would help with previewing to check things, rather than having to build the entire video. Yes, I understand it's my system config, but I can't afford anything new at the moment.
  6. I'm running V6.10. I know it's old. Money is the issue at the moment. The video and sound were in synch. Part of the same clip.
  7. Hi Occasionally, when editing a clip, the video and the voice get out of synch. Always happens after I split a clip and chop a section out. The following section of the clip gets out of synch and I can't find a way to get it back without closing down and starting again. Is there any way to get it back in synch without closing down?
  8. Hi Everyone. Love using Videopad, even with its little undocumented features 😁 All the videos on my channel have been made with Videopad. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCo6UjcMdiGj0ghuIx2BW5mg
  9. Hi Borate I have been doing that, but I have to unlink the audio from the video. When I do that I can't relink it back and then editing causes issues. In my reply to Nat you'll see my work around. Thanks
  10. Hi Nat To get around it I export as mono. That works. It's just that during editing it's awkward because on some clips I hear stereo, on others mono left only. I have also noticed that if all my clips are mono then it plays back on both channels. But if I add just one clip that's stereo then all mono clips now only play in the left channel. Another solution is to never use the built-in mic on the phone, and I think that's where I'll go.
  11. Hi I create some videos with my iPhone using the built in mic. Others I use a mic plugged into the lightning port. In VideoPad, when I listen to either clip the audio comes out of both channels. If I add the one using the built-in mic to the timeline it is fine and the audio comes out both channels. But if I add a clip created using a mic plugged into the lightning port to the timeline I only get a left track. The interesting thing is that outside of VideoPad the clip sounds fine, and listening to the clip in VideoPad it's fine, but as soon as I add the clip to the timeline it only plays in the left channel. Can anybody help with this?
