Thanks for the info. I am very surprised that NCH doesn't allow installation on an SSD (unless it's the C drive) considering they they advise that it be installed to an SSD. Do you work for NCH? Is there any point in asking anyone else, maybe in their support system? And, would it gain anything to move the cache to the SSD, as it would have to move the data between drives? Cheers Bert

Hi The SSD is not C:, it is E:. I tried an install and it just overwrote the old installation on C:. How can I persuade it to install on the SSD which is E:? Thanks.

Thanks, I understand it now but it is not what I want. For an animated arrow I find that it is much better to create an image with a transparent background and animate it with the effects animator.

I am making a video where the clips are reversed. Once I have reversed the clip, the preview is so slow that I can't do anything. Is there a fix for this, or do I have to export each clip, and reimport it as a separate video, which is rather tedious? I found a partial solution, using an SSD. But I also want to speed up the clip, and when I do that the preview starts buffering again. So suggestions still welcome! Thanks, Bert

I want to export the audio track so that I can process it in another program and then re-import it. I have split the track many times, but I want to export the entire track, not just one clip. Can this be done? I am using the free version. Thanks Bert Speggly
