  1. UPDATE: I got the problem fixed. It turns out that there was a new tempo marking in the score (I suppose it got added on accident), but somehow during the process of my adding new bars and moving bar lines, the mark for the new tempo got pushed off the page display and I was not seeing it... Now I spotted it and deleted it.
  2. I would simply use the TEXT tool. It's in the top-right section of the screen. You click the TEXT tool and your mouse will turn into a cursor. Then point it somewhere in the score close to the spot where you want the text to go and click it. An interactive box will pop open and you can type it what you want the text to say. After doing so, you can use the SELECT tool to click and drag the text wherever you want it. Guitar position markings are usually in capitalized Roman numerals.
  3. I'm transcribing the intro section for an instrumental piano piece. The section is about a page long. When I listen to the playback, it sounds good and accurate, etc., EXCEPT at around the 5th measure, it suddenly speeds up the tempo - like double fast compared to the first 4 measures.... I don't have a new tempo-designation here either. Playback seems to just be doing this by itself without prompting. I cannot figure out why it is doing this. It makes no sense. Has anyone else had this problem? Does anyone know how to fix it?
