Found that you can export drawings to obj files, with can be open in various programs / viewers. Also found my project is far to big and complex to work good that way. What I did is make some screen prints from different camera positions, cropped these to nice pictures and use these in my presentation. Not so nice as a true 3D presentation, but probably the only way. Using DreamPlan in a presentation is asking for problems....if you move a round your mouse you will 100% move around or delete items unintended. A solution would be that you can lock items once they are in place and unlock them again if needed, like you can in CorelDraw. Then, with al items locked, you can show your drawing from different camera positions and move around your mouse to aim at certain items, without the risk of, moving or delete things.

If you are in the 3D view, select the building tab , than at the bottom left you find "New Story" this what to use to create a new floor.

Is there a presentation software in which I can show a dreamplan project and ONLY change the camera position, so that I can show the project without running the risk of deleting or moving something unintentionally? Of course, with that software I also have to be able to show text and photo slides.

I found the solution! If you have a building and you want to give it a flat roof with something like a water barrel on it, don't place a roof on that building but place a new (first ) story. Than on that story place outside walls, make these walls as low as possible (2,5cm) if you have completed these outside wall than you will be able to place a floor for your new story. Ones you have that floor you can place every "floor item" on it, while at a roof you can place nothing.

Yes I have imported a barrel, I will try what I can do with the block tool and post he result.

In have a building with a smal barn next to it i have placed a flat roof on the barn and I like to place a water barrel (tinaco) on roof of the barn. Tried to load the barrel as floating object, as surface object and as wall object nothing seems to work. How to place the barrel on the roof? Next thing how to delete the wrong loaded barrels form the items database? Thanks for help Douwe
