  1. I am creating a music video combining separate recordings from each band member who are all isolated in separate locations. I wanted to place the instruments in different places in the stereo mix, but the pan effect is not available for a couple of the clips. I think this may be because these may have been recorded in mono. Can I convert the audio for these into stereo? or is there another way around this problem? -0- Just found the pan control on the sequence timeline view, so don't actually need the pan effect on the clip. Would still be interesting to know if there is a simple way of converting a video clip from mono to stereo within Videopad. Thanks Phil
  2. Thanks. Here's the finished video. It worked well in the end, and the feathering was useful to blend the edges too. There is still an issue with the sound getting out of sync, but that was a problem with my original playback and recording, not to do with VideoPad. https://youtu.be/Oh6ohtnSEfg Phil
  3. That seems to have fixed it. Thanks 🙂
  4. Screenshot here showing the problem in the preview window. The lines also show in exported video. http://philpreen.co.uk/test/PolygonMaskLines.png
  5. I am trying to overlay two video clips. I found the answers in this thread to be really useful: http://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/25627-using-mask/ However the example there with the flying saucer is using a mostly dark coloured image on a fairly dark background. My video clips are taken outside and are quite light in colour, especially the sky area, and I find that I am seeing dark lines around my cut-out area. If I use feathering that actually makes it worse and I get thicker lines. I intitally thought the problem might be due to the lighting being very slightly different in the two clips, but I was able to reproduce the problem just using a solid white image overlaid on two tracks.Using the default reactangular mask I don't see the lines, but if you alter the mask shape they appear. Any ideas how I can remove or reduce these lines? Thanks Phil.
