I apologize for my earlier reply. I was mistaken. When I convert a .pdf file that was sent to me, it converted easily to an editable .docx file. It was only when I trad to convert a document that i made via scanning to a .pdf format that I could not obtain an editable .docx file. Sorry about my previous reply; I was srong about the source of one of the files.

I am having a similar problem; however, sometimes I get an editable .docx file and sometimes I don't. Not sure of why that is happening. In all cases, I am using a .pdf document that I scanned using an HP Envy 7640 printer/scanner with Windows 10 Home, latest build. I cannot see any difference in the settings/options. Atleast I know it can work sometimes; just need to know how to make it work all the time.
