  1. I forget what the format professionally recorded CDs use. Do you know if your TV's player will play MP3 files? If you don't know, check the manual. If you don't have the manual, you could probably get it online. If you REALLY want to hear it through the TV's speaker, you could buy a cable (mostn likely you'll needa cable with MALE RCA plugs at both ends). On the TV, the plug that's white is for the left channel and the red is the right. The yellow is for video, but you won't need the yellow; keep it unplugged.
  2. I just happened to see this now. DannR, I don't think you read the question correctly.. The OP does NOT want the phone to record the external sounds. He/She just wants to record the incoming audio from the Net. Siberian, do you want or need to listen to the stream as it's coming in? If not, you can buy a plug with nothing on the other side, This should eliminate your external noise problem. If you do want or need to listen while you're recording, you can get some headphones to listen, but if they are connected to that plug, you might still get the ambient noisae. Speakers can be used as microphones too. I don't know if using Bluetooth will still allow the ambient noise to be picked up. You could try and experiment.
  3. I'm trying to learn to play a song with the vciolin/fiddle. I tried using the EQ. It dropped the instrumentvolume by maybe 20% Is there another tools I can use to mute the violin?
