  1. Hi I am looking to renovate and extend my home in the next couple of years and considering paying some to build the initial plan in Dreamplan. I already have measured drawings of the current home and would like to : 1. Pay someone (upwork, freelancer or the like) to build a 3d model of the current home 2. Get the same person to build 3d model of the renovation from my sketches of the proposed changes. 3. Be able to use the same software as a novice to make tweaks and changes to the concept. Once I've got the 3d model that I am happy with (and agreed with my wife) I'll hand over to a draftsman to do the new measured drawings that the builders can quote and work off. I've previoulsy used to use Broderbund 3d Home Architect reasonably proficiently, but this sofware is no longer available. I don't need a full BIM tool as it is really just so I can agree the concept. I gather this product can handle the whole layout of the block and garden as well. My plan will have 3 levels with separated structures on different elevations. The house is on a sloping block (Top left to bottom right corner) which is a little tricky to handle in most products. The garage is at street level and will connect to the house with stairs to the house further up the block. I'm wondering if there is much of a community out there for Dream Plan and people who draw up a plan and hand over the file for a fee. I expect experienced users would be able to my plan 90% there in a fraction of the time it would take me as a novice. I know there are lots of Revit and SketchUp developers out there but I don't want to be locked into paying a month fee. Would Dreamplan be a good choice for what I am wanting to do? Regards adbell
