Snowoman

I purchased the program, made a video for my brother's funeral. I copied it to thumb drives for his family but when they try to open and play video on their computers, they are unable to open it. We presume because they don't have the program. Is this true? If so, will the video play on the trial version. I don't think they should have to purchase the program to view.
