Macbook Air Mojave Infinity Footpedal (IN-USB2)

I have a 2014 Macbook Pro Retina with MacOS Mojave, version 10.14.6. I purchased ExpressScribe from Amazon and the Infinity foot control pedal is not showing up in the software or on my computer at all. Is the pedal just not compatible with my version of Mac or is there something I'm missing? I am new to all of this.
