If the business you are trying to delete is the business that was created first when you opened the program then you will not be able to delete that. You can delete any other you have created but not the first one that was created. You can check with NCH tech support : https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html

I'd recommend opening a support ticket at https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html Tech support will need to know what kind of files your importing, and they may need a sample.

Is there a way to set the rewind to back up by seconds or words?
Fred28 replied to Lisa H. Becker's topic in Express Scribe
Check the options menu and the ¨Hot-Keys¨ to make sure they are set correctly and that you are using the correct keys or combination of keys. You may want to reach out to NCH tech tech team if they are not working as they should. https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html -
You mean if she can set up a timer so the program does not start recording after 3 seconds? The program does not offer this option. She should use the shortcuts to start recording when she is ready so she does not have to use the controls on the program.

Can you please provide more details as to what you mean by ¨Ripple the clips on a track when small timeline adjustments are made¨ so I can test and see if I can find another way? You may want to reach NCH tech team as well and see if they have any tips for you. https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html

Can you provide a screenshot? Are both programs licensed? You may also want to reach out to NCH Tech team and see if they can help as well. https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html

There is no way to turn it off, the options become available depending on the audio device or driver you choose to record from. If you change the device the options will be disabled. You may want to contact NCH tech team and confirm. https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html

Yes, backups will overwrite whatever is on the program when you restore. From what I understand and what you are describing this will not be possible, the available options to sync will not work on the way you are trying to do this. You may want to ask the NCH tech team, https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html

Any part that was left out of the recording cannot be recovered now because it was not recorded. Regarding the issue I will need to know what you did from the moment you opened the program so I can test, I will also need you to share the resulting video showing the issue you mention to have a better understanding of what happened. If you are not confortable sharing here you can contact the NCH tech support team for help here: https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html

Can you open ¨Debut¨ and under ¨audio¨ click the ¨System Mixer¨ button, on the window that opens up, click the recording tab and then check if you have an option on the list that says ¨Stereo Mix¨ if you do, set it as the default device and then go back to debut and under the ¨Audio Settings¨ check the ¨Speakers¨ option as well and then test. If this does not work you might want to reach out to NCH tech team here: https://www.nch.com.au/support/index.html
