  1. Hello, In the time signature 6/8, in the rhythm, dotted eighth note, followed by 16th note, followed by an eighth note the 16th note beam is on the wrong side of the stem (It should be on the left side of the stem following the dotted eighth note, not on the right side of the stem before the final eighth note). Is there any way to change this? Thank you
  2. I decided to just uninstall the new software and reinstall the old software. The old version works just fine. I'll just keep that.
  3. Any word?? Are you getting the same result?
  4. Great! Here are the files, https://1drv.ms/u/s!ApqBy6mPLq5Ji499xEBDUxg07nhEKA?e=9qqCaq Thank you!
  5. Hello. I have the Masters v.9.44 and it is only exporting 16bit files. The settings are correct. I've tried several different files that are 24 bit and I export them as 24 bit files but MixPad renders them as 16bit. Any ideas? I never had this problem with previous versions.
  6. Thank you for your response. I'll set both playback and recording settings to the sample rate of the file I am importing If I have files of different sample rates, I would usually do a SRC in my Izotope RX anyway. It was more of a curiosity question how MixPad handles multiple sample rates if set to match source. But I understand what you mean...if I set the project settings to a particular sample rate, everything imported will be at that specified sample rate. Thank you for clarifying. I do both audio and video. Normally I set video at 48. Audio is usually 48 and up. Appreciated!
  7. Hello, When I import a .wav file, what is the sample rate that it is imported as? It may seem like a silly question but in "Project Options" it only gives you the sample rate option for playback and the sample rate for recording. How do I make sure MixPad imports my audio at the correct sample rate? For example, I left the project options as "match source" and imported one track that was 44.1 and another duplicate of the first that was 48. One of them had to be converted because when I played them at the same time, they lined up perfectly. Which one was underwent a sample rate conversion? How can I be sure my imported audio files are not undergoing a SRC? Is that determined by the playback and recording settings mentioned above? Thanks.
  8. Me again...also, I really need to be able to have a staff without a time signature without the "X". Is there a way to do this? Thanks again,
  9. Hello, I teach music theory and have some questions about Crescendo. 1. Can I control which direction the stems go? For 4-part chorale writing the soprano stems go up, the alto stems down, the tenor up, and the bass stems down no matter the register of the note head.. 2. I can't find the symbols for half-diminished or fully diminished chords. Does Crescendo have them? Ø ◦ 3. I need the symbols for harmonics on stringed instruments (they look like diamond note heads). Does crescendo have them? 4. I need the thumb symbol for bass and cello fingerings. Looks like ϙ . This is different from the Bartok pizz Crescendo has which inverts when it is about the note. Does Crescendo have this? Thanks
  10. This is an older post but in case someone finds it looking for an answer... If a little popping noise or digital click happens at the end of a clip where you faded out completely, try zooming way in and slicing off a little sliver of the end of the clip. Readjust the fade. Or, you can zoom in and highlight a little sliver of the end of the clip and click 'silence' under 'editing'. This often does the trick.
  11. Hi Ben, Thank you for the reply! I just tried your suggestion and it does make it easier. If there was a way to unlock from the clip manager, that would also be great. I would be very interested in any alternatives you come up with. Thanks, Shosty
  12. Oh, you can easily adjust the volume within a clip. See the little red line going horizontal through the clip? Click on the spot where you want to change the volume. A little handle appears. Drag the handle down (volume goes down) or up (volume goes up). You can add as many handles as you like and drag them around.
  13. Hi all, I've been using MixPad for many years and have not found a convenient way out of this conundrum. But sometimes I am oblivious so here I am looking for an answer! Below is a tune with quite a few edits with cross fades. I have to say, I've gotten fairly quick at editing with cross fades and have my own system to get the job done. Anyway...here's the problem: As you can see, all of the clips are locked because I don't want them to move after getting a nice smooth edit. What do I do if I decide I am not happy with one of my edits and I want to nudge just *one* of these clips to tweak an edit? So lets say I want to nudge to the right clip no. 4 to get a smoother edit between clips 3 and 4. I will need all the clips to the right of clip 4 to move together with my nudge. Of course, this is possible in MixPad but it is very cumbersome, unless you all know something I don't. Please share! What I do is one by one highlight clip 4 and all the clips to the right of it, then one by one unlock all the clips to the right of clip 4. Now I can nudge and all the clips to the right nudge right along with it. Besides being time consuming, what if I accidentally click in the wrong spot? The clips all unhighlight and I have to start over. Oy! Or what if the tune is much longer, say 15 minutes, and it has a bunch of edits, say 30? You get the idea! Another way is to merge the clips every time I am happy with the edit. But then again, what if want to nudge the edit or redo it? If I go back to the history and unmerge the merge, I lose everything I did since the merge. Am I missing something here? Is there a better way??? Here is what I would love to see - I would love an 'unmerge' button. So when you merge clips there is an indication where the separate clips are on the track itself. Maybe they can be assigned different colors by the user. Then, if you want to nudge a single clip, just highlight the two clips, click "unmerge' and nudge to your hearts content and remerge when done! It seems like a simple solution and would give MixPad a great deal more editing power and i would be ever so grateful!!! But please let me know if I am missing something or if you have another way out of my conundrum!! It would be much appreciated!!! Thanks!
