In the vid you are working with just one track and that is indeed doable, only with multiple tracks it is a problem. I will try to work with the shortcuts you gave, but i am afraid i have to switch back to the older version where everything stays in place. Thanks for your feedback

Hi, I have so many unfinished projects that makes it impossible to use another editor, and i really do not want to use another one, cause i think videopad is one of the best out there. I am stuck on version 4.48 because the other versions have the auto ripple when you want to extend a bit of a footage, It pulls all the other footage/images along with it, same goes with the audio, when stretching it messes up the whole project and nothing is in place. This issue is addressed before but i am really desperate here, why the hell is it set on Auto Ripple, it is like a big bug that needs fixing. Please help and if it is not going to be fixed i am trying to finnish up what i still have not done and stepping over to Shotcut. Still my best regards cause i do love your program.

Thanks for responding, but it does not fix the problem that the newer versions has a need for so many things to do for the simplest thing, like pulling left or right on an image or clip. I am just in constant panic mode to see if i did not forget to group or ungroup to make sure everything is not off place. Btw, I always use the unlink for the audio, so that is not the issue, the issue is the pulling on an image or clip and now I have to cut everything for even the smallest adjustments. I do really love Videopad, and i am using a really old version 4.48 and really tried to make the newer one workable, also because of the black theme, cause it looks so much better. It is a waste that the way it was did not hold up in the newer versions and I do hope someone would fix it, cause i see many people have the same issues with it. Best regards Natasja

I am wanting to use a newer version for so long now, and every now and then I try the newer versions and have to install the old one cause it does not have this issue. It is not workable at all, and it is so frustrating I can not insert a clip or a image without all the other ones on other overlay tracks moving from their places, including the sound tracks. I hope anyone has any suggestions, cause it is not workable to move them one by one by hand. I use a lot of overlays and it is impossible to work anything in this way. -0-0- I used the group function to insert and it helps a bit, but when making an image or clip longer that I inserted before the ones that are in the group by pulling right or left, it is still messed up. Everything goes out of place including the single sound track despite the group function. Any suggestions?

Hi Nat, I am also looking for a way to render a video with a transparent background. I have a registered version 4.48 but i don't see the option. Could it be that it is not available in this version? Natasja
