  1. Please make sure you follow these steps:

    1. Open your email settings in Express Accounts by clicking the Options button on the toolbar
    2. Select Other from the list on the left
    3. Click the Email Settings... button
    4. Select the radio button for Use SMTP to send email directly to the mail server
    5. Enter the server address in the SMTP mail host text box (this varies depending on your email client)
      • Gmail: smtp.gmail.com
      • Yahoo: smtp.mail.yahoo.com or smtp.mail.yahoo.co.uk (if email address ends in yahoo.co.uk)
      • Hotmail/MSN/Outlook.com: smtp.live.com
      • AOL: smtp.aol.com
      • Comcast: smtp.comcast.net
      • Other: Contact your mail provider for your SMTP server address
    6. Check the box labeled Server requires authentication
    7. Enter your User Name, (e.g., youraddress@gmail.com), and your Password in the appropriate text boxes
    8. Check the box labeled Use secure connection (SSL/TLS) if available
      Please note: Comcast users should skip this step
    9. Enter your email address into the Default reply email textbox
    10. Click OK to save your changes.

    If you are using a Gmail account, you will need to do additional work:

    1. Log into your Gmail account, and go to this page.
    2. Make sure the option "Allow less secure apps" is set to ON.
    3. Confirm all settings within Express Invoice, and then test emailing an invoice.

    Note that the SMTP for a Gmail account is smtp.gmail.com

  2. I tested it using that version 5.53 (trial) and I was able to download it without problems. What occurs when you try to download it? Are you getting any error message? 

    In attempt to fix this issue, please try the steps below:

    Uninstall MixPad, then delete 3 folders named "MixPad" and 1 named "Components" from these locations:
    **C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\MixPad\
    **C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\MixPad\
    **C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\Components
    **C:\ProgramData\NCH Software\MixPad\
    **If you can't find any of the folders, just continue. 

    After that, restart your computer and reinstall the program using this link: http://www.oldversiondownload.com/oldversions/mixpad-5-53-2019-08-07.exe

    Once done, restart your system one more time.

  3. not sure what you mean by inventory opening balance. If you are referring to an account you created in Express Accounts, click View > Chart of Accounts > double click on the account you want to edit > enter a new Opening Balance > click OK to save the changes.

    If you are referring to something else, please elaborate.

  4. Hello, it may depend on how long ago you purchased the license and also, may depend on the current version you have on you Mac. If it is running Catalina and you purchased a license more than 6 months ago, you will be required to upgrade since old licenses will not be compatible with that OS. If you purchase your license recently, you can use the same license. NCH offers a license upgrade discount by entering your current registration code at http://www.nch.com.au/upgrade/

  5. All the reports you can run in MoneyLine (click Reports menu > select any of the reports) can be saved as CSV. You may also try to backup your data (click Tools > Back Up Data). Once you have saved the data (CSV or Backup), you can delete the existing data and start over.

  6. Sadly, the program does not offer the option to run a report with the information you are requesting. This is the list of reports you can run in Express Invoice: http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/expressinvoice/win/reports.html

  7. What do you mean by "I can't enter the same name twice in the name field"? What field are you referring to? Can you provide all the steps you have followed to be able to reproduce the issue? What occurs when you try to do that? Are you getting any error message? What happens you you try to get into Primary Contact? In any case, I would recommend you to reinstall the program https://www.nchsoftware.com/crm/refsetup.exe

  8. If you are not using Mac OS Catalina, v6.64 should work without issues on your machine. I guess the message does not say it does not work, what it says is that the current version of the program is 32bit and will not work on future OS upgrades, so it is recommended to upgrade.

  9. First of all, you need to make sure you have purchased a license for the "Plus MPEG2 Edition" and have registered the program since the "Plus Edition" does not support video file formats MPEG2. Then, .mpg format is the extension of the file, MPEG2 is the video compressor, so when you convert it (even if you use MPEG2), the extension if the file will be .mpg, the difference will be in the way the video is compressed.
