  1. Do you have the latest version of IVM (v4.02) installed? And is your "Default reply email" box in the Email Settings filled in correctly?
  2. I read on this site that BroadVoice, when connected as a VOIP line, has to be used thru Axon. They said BroadVoice made changes that caused problems with IVM. While doing some packet sniffing I found that after turning off IVM it still "technically" answered the line. IVM didn't pick up because I had turned it off but it interfered with a software voice recorder that I ran at the same time. I run my BroadVoice line through a Sipura PAP2T before it uses IVM.
  3. UPDATE I am using 2 modems on this machine, 1 AOpen FM56-PX 1 Aopen FM56-SVV The PX works fine, the SVV does not. Problem solved.
  4. I'm interested in how everything is connected and how IVM interfaces with the software on the SOHO PBX. Could you run through the hook up and interface?
  5. The line isn't BroadVoice is it?
  6. After more checking I found that you are correct about the VoIP lines vs the pstn lines. I am running both lines through voice modems on that computer. On the pstn I can pick up the call while IVM messages are playing or while the message is being left. On the VoIP line I can only pick-up while the line is ringing, before IVM answers. I need to find a way to fix this.

    IVM and Outlook

If the employees mail boxes are on the Ability Mail Server, have IVM send it to the individual boxes. Where ever the employees retrieve their mail from is where IVM should send it to. Hope this helps. JayTB
  8. On this computer I am using; Sipura PAP2T NA connected to an AOpen modem and an analog 3 line phone for a Broadvoice line. One AOpen modem for a PSTN line to the 3 line analog phone Skype through an AU-600 adapter to the 3 line analog phone. I can only pick up on any of the lines when it is ringing, not after the IVM answers.
  9. I hate to have so many questions but... I have tried everything in the directions to be able to answer as someone is leaving a message. 3 mail boxes; Default Bonnie Jeremiah One OGM; Default Answering Message Default message: Please leave a message after the tone and someone will get back to you. Advanced settings + Press 1: Leave Message for Mailbox Bonnie. + Press 2: Leave Message for Mailbox Jeremiah. + Press #: Hangup. + Press *: MailBox Remote Access.2s. > Leave Message for Mailbox Default How do I answer while someone is leaving a message?

    Outlook & IVM

If you use Outlook and IVM to send email notification you may get the Outlook pop-up message that requires you to click OK for it to continue. Here is a link to a program that stops the pop-up message. http://www.contextmagic.com/express-clickyes There is a free and a paid version. With the free version the message flashes and the email goes out with no clicking. With the paid version it hides all activity and the email goes out with no clicking. I use you free version and it works for me on Outlook 2003, Outlook 2000 with all patches and Outlook XP. JayTB
  11. Are you using a voice modem? I had that problem and found it was drivers for my modem causing the disconnect. JayTB
  12. Here is the link, http://www.nch.com.au/hardware/telephony.html I would email Support, tell them what you want to do and ask which board or USB device they suggest. Hope this helps.
  13. I used an AOpen FM56-PX modem to test the IVM with. I had to change voltage settings and other settings to make it work. I always had problems with the modem. I purchased one of the NCH cards and no more problems. I can only speak for my setup.
  14. I had asked support about it and they requested a read out. It showed that IVM had gone out over 1000 times a day to check the stun server and almost the same checking DNS servers. Maybe just on my setup?
