What does "non-commercial, home use only mean?"

I am wondering the same... I'm new to Youtube and have just donwloaded the free non-commercial version of VideoPad editing software for editing my Youtube videos. Is it legal to use the software and download videos to Youtube ?? Please help me... Thank you in advance
