So in a situation where the Ground Level is exactly the same as the 1st Story, how do I go about merging the 2 floors.?

How do I rotate a piece of furniture?

I have created both ground floor and second floor separately but don't know how to put them together to create one building ie ground floor and second floor. Can anybody help? Thanks.
