  1. Thank you. I shared the file with you via PM.
  2. Ah. So this is NCH's After Effects equivalent? I didn't know about it. I have an animation that was created in After Effects. I was hoping to be able to use it in VideoPad without having to create it from scratch. Is that possible? You can natively import an After Effects composition into Premiere by importing the After Effects file into Premiere, then selecting the composition. I didn't know if there a way to do this kind of import into VideoPad. Thanks!
  3. Howdy! Is there a way to import or use After Effects animations with transparency in VideoPad? Thank you!
  4. Hi! Is there a way to export the audio from a Video Pad project to an audio file like WAV or MP3? Thanks!
  5. I'm such a dummy! I just simply didn't see "Crossfade" in the transition window. Thank you!
  6. Hi there! Could someone please advise me with the steps for how to do a video crossfade between two video clips? I have already tried using fade out / fade in, but that is not what I want. I want a true crossfade. But every time I try to add the effect, the effect box just disappears without adding the crossfade. I'm sure I'm dong something wrong. Thank you!
  7. Found it. It was in the Media > Image Enhancement settings for my graphics card. "Adaptive Contrast Enhancement" was turned on by default. Lame. Thanks again. And thanks for being so fast to respond. I really appreciate it.
  8. Same thing happens in MPC-BE. It must be my monitor somehow. I can see it start to adjust to brightness toward darker at the end of the animation, which is bright, then after it goes back to normal video, it starts to re-adjust the brightness. As far as I know, I have no brightness sensors on this monitor. Plus, it plays fine in YouTube on this monitor. I guess I'll keep investigating. Thanks for your help!
  9. I am using Windows Media Player ell, that is super weird. You're right. Looks fine on youtube on the same computer, and on my laptop. So sorry to bother you with this. Thank you for looking at it. If you can recommend a different Win 7 player, I would appreciate it. Thanks again!
  10. I am experiencing a strange problem. This is my first video with VideoPad. I am using VideoPad v. 8.63 on Win 7 64. My main video begins with normal DSLR video on Video track 1 for about 7 seconds. I have two additional audio tracks - one is voice (in addition to the voice recorded on the video track from the camera), the other is background music. Then on Video track 2, I have an MP4 logo animation for about 5 seconds. Video track 1 is empty under Video track 2 at this point in the sequence. Then the main video (track 1) comes back in with the main video. Everything looks normal while in VideoPad. The problem occurs in the exported video. I am exporting as MP4, high quality, H264, HD, constant 29.97 fps, subtitles hidden. The video starts great, the animation looks great. When it cuts back to the main video, it is immediately darker than it should be and slowly fades to normal brightness over about the next 5 seconds. I am not using any video effects or transitions. The only effect I am using is the amplification effect on the audio. Thank you for your help!
  11. Howdy, Did I see something about Videopad auto-leveling or auto-normalizing audio across multiple video clips? If I'm not imagining this, is is something that can be turned on and off? Sorry if it's a dumb question. Thank you!
  12. I guess by "easy" I meant "automatic," but you answered my question. That is how I have been doing it. Thanks!

    Audio sync

Howdy NCH, For my podcast, I am recording my spoken voice audio on a separate device. The video camera captures audio as well, which will be muted in the final export. Is there an easy way to sync up the separate audio with the audio recorded by the camera? Thanks!
  14. I could not find this. I ended up submitted it at https://www.nch.com.au/suggestions/index.html?software=VideoPad Thank you!
  15. Ok thank you. Would be a nice feature, I think.
  16. Hi there! Is there a way to save a custom preset in Export File Settings? Thank you!
  17. Hello, I have successfully edited and exported/saved video from HD .mov source, and the video imported into and saved from VideoPad looks just as good as the original .mov file, when played in WMP. I am having problems with getting same/high quality video exports from source material originally on a DVD (.vob) even when converted to .mpg. Both the .vob and .mpg versions of the original DVD files play great from my PC. They look fine in WMP. But when I create a job in VideoPad and export it, no matter how high I set the quality, or what format I choose, I cannot get the same quality video as the original. Any ideas? I am using Video Pad v. 3 on Windows 7 Pro. Thank you!
