I'm using Express Dictate version 4.03 on an Apple OS 10.4.2 The problem that I have is that the programme doesn't give a choice as far as compression goes. The select compression box gives only two choices, 16bit and what appears to be uncompressed. The 16 bit compresses wav from 1.8mb down to 191 kb, and it sounds terrible. I have repaired permissions, run Mac Janitor and Disc Warrior. Any suggestions?
