  1. I would say that you have a bad keyboard output or a bad cable. Doesn't sound like an issue with Mixpad. You may want to try a DI box between your keyboard and the interface to calm down some of the noise, but that probably won't completely solve your problem.
  2. There is a topic on here called "Delay in Stopping Track Recording" that details my saga.
  3. This used to happen to me. I ended up rolling the OS back to Yosemite and it worked the right way again. I think I also updated the Mixpad software. I remember it being really annoying and stressing me out.
  4. I am using a the Focusrite 18i20 with a Mac running the Sierra OS. When recording mono or stereo tracks on the instruments inputs 1 or 2 (or both), the recording performs as expected. When recording on input mic / line inputs 3 through 8, one of two things happen: 1. The track records a clip that is all digital sounding gibberish. This occurs even if i have everything dialed WAY back on my interface. Even if I have everything dialed completely back, the bars still peak out before hitting record. Note, I'm running DIs in between instrument and interface. 2. The application crashes and tells me that a SIGNAL11 error has occurred. I do not have these problems on ProTools, so I know it is related to Mixpad only. I would really like to keep using Mixpad as I am really fast with it and can get ideas down really well. This is a showstopper, though. Any ideas? Thanks, Kevin
  5. To close out this topic, wanted to pass along that I upgraded to the latest version and the issue was solved!
  6. Unfortunately, I have done a reinstall and a restart and the issue still lingers on.
  7. As soon as I hit the "stop" button (or hit the space bar), there is a delay in when the recording actually stops. Sometimes the delay is 10 seconds, sometimes it is more than a minute. Either way, it is annoying. Anyone else experiencing this problem and have a solution? It has been happening to me for months even though I have made no changes to my hardware or software. Thanks, Kevin
  8. Hi Rocknroller, I did not have to pay again to upgrade. Kevin
  9. I updated to version 3.99 last night and it solved this issue.
  10. The stop button does not work until 20-30 seconds after I click it when I am recording. The recording even continues until MixPad decides to stop the recording. Sometimes the stop button never stops the recording at all. In these cases, I turn off the audio interface and it stops the recording as if I had hit stop. Here is my setup: Mac OSX Yosemite 7200 RPM, USB 3.0 External Drive M-Audio Fast Track Pro MixPad Version = whatever I am eligible for with my 2014 registration code Any thoughts as to why this may be happening? Thanks, Kevin
  11. Hi Ben, My MixPad registration code is from 2014. Can I still upgrade? Thanks, Kevin
  12. Thanks for all of your help, Ben. I opted to restore my OS back to Yosemite. Now I have no problems whatsoever.
  13. At this point in time, this discussion may be irrelevant. For unexpected reasons, my interface is no longer even as an input or output source. This is getting frustrating and I'm really wishing I had never updated to El Capitan.
  14. Hi EdWheeler, Are you exporting the tracks as WAV or mp3? Kevin
  15. Hi Ben, Lets say I have a drum track playing a standard 4 beat per measure with the kick drum on the 1, 2, 3, and 4. If I then record a separate bass track and mirror the kick (one note on the 1, 2, 3, and 4), it all sounds great to the ears while I am playing. However, when I go back and listen to it and view it on the screen, the bass track is about a half beat behind the kick drum. I should note that prior to updating my OS to El Capitan, I did not have this gap. Thanks, Kevin
  16. Hi Ben, I am getting some changes, but I'm new to the latency adjustment game. Are there common settings that I should try to determine the best setting for my hardware/drivers? I was basically just setting the value randomly. Thanks, Kevin
  17. Well I was able to get the M-Audio Fast Track Pro to be recognized by Mixpad. I did it by deleting all the files related to the M-Audio driver. My new problem is that I now have a huge latency issue. Anyone else make it this far?
  18. Anyone having an issue getting Mixpad to recognize their audio interface since upgrading to OS El Capitan? I'm using the M-Audio Fast Track Pro. All was great until I updated the OS to El Capitan. Trying to track down if it is an M-Audio driver issue or a Mixpad issue.

    Tracks Seperate

Make sure that you only have the record button on one track only.
  20. Is there a way to insert "blank" measures in the middle of a project? For example, add in an additional 4 measures in the middle of the song to extend a keyboard solo. Thanks, Kevin
