  1. Hello all, this is my first post. I downloaded the software today, and got it working fine with a linksys 3000 as the PSTN interface, and extension, and was also able to register an eyebeam phone. This is very basic compared to astersik, but I really like the concept. I sell small proprietry key systems, and over the last year or so, am selling asterisk solutions to SME's. I dont for one minute claim to be an asterisk expert, I have partners that know all the linux and deep and menaingful Asterisk Code stuff. I am trying to come at this as a PABX vendor rather than an IT professional. I think I have picked up quite a bit over the last few years, but I basically only want to know, what I only want to know. After setting up Axon, I noticed a few things, and please tell me if I have missed something. 1. A call from one extension to amother seems to take about 8 seconds to actually ring the other phone. 2. Same seems to go for an inbound call via a linksys spa 3000 before it hits either a direct extension or a ring group. These are 2 things that I need to sort out. I also have an IMS telephone on hold software, but I dont get on hold music through either the incomming call group, or when I put a call on hold on the eyebeam, or when I initial a sip transfer through the spa 3000. I also need to find out why there is such a delay on both the inbound call-to-ring group, and why there is such a delay when initiating a call to another extension. This on face value looks to be a really viable proposition to me as a PABX salesman to people who seem keen on Voip, but dont want a full on asterisk solution, and if I can get some basics to work as my customers expect from a normal phone system I think this has the potential to be an absolute winner. These are the most basic of basic features that most soho businesses need. Answer a call and hold / retrieve the held call Custpomizable music on hold PA paging Transfer to another extension Call group that will ring multiple phones, on mutiple lines either as all call or in sequence (this seems to work) Overflow to company mailbox either during hours, when busy, or after hours (nite) with message wait notification sent to the owner of the mailbox Selection of carrier based on number dialed. (this seems to work exceptionally well from what I can see) Thanks in advance
