yeah that was the first hing I tried. It is weird b/c I got everything to work on my laptop but on the desktop it is messed up. The uplink driver is there so that can't be it. Any other ideas?

I tried installing the beta version of skype (3.0) and now I am getting a new driver listed in the audio in but with weird characters. It seems to me that the uplink driver does not install correctly, does anyone have an idea how we can install it manually?

I am having the same problem. The driver is installed correctly (I tried reinstalling it many times) but there is no uplink driver listed in the skype==>sound devices -- audio in and out. That is why I think uplink is not working for me, anyone have any ideas?
