Hi! :-) When breaking up a "full album" mp3 into imdividual songs, I always get "converting rate or channels." How do I tell what rate and channel the "full album" file is so I'll know how to set my preferences so it won't take as long to copy a highlighted selection to a new window? Thanx in advance :-)

Not sure what you mean. You mean that Wavepad's default is set with another program?

Hi! :-) How do I set Licensed WavePad 3.05 so that when I tell it to "Save file as" it defaults to Mp3 at a bitrate of 128kbps as well as to whatever folder I previously saved something to? Thanx in advance :-)

Hi! :-) How to I get the "reduce vocals" tool to work? No matter what I do, when I select that option, nothing happens. How do I make sure a file is "stereo"? Can it be used to "reduce" some lyrics but not others? (getting rid of offensive language in an otherwise good song is a good example)

Hi! :-) Since getting my new WinXP Home laptop a few minths ago, which has volume controlled by an electronic touchpad instead of a mechanical wheel, most of the time when I open Wavepad, it kicks up my volume to nearly 100%. What causes this and how can I prevent it? Thanx in advance :-)

Hi! :-) I'm not sure if this should go here or in "Other Programs," so if the mods feel it should go there, please go right ahead, I won't mind. I have used wavepad for some time and am quite happy with it. Does anyone know of a freeware/shareware video editor that views video files, mpg, avi, etc., in much the same way as Wavepad views audio files? Asking because I sometimes come across videos which have parts that I don't care for and parts I'd really like to save. With such a program, I could cut out the parts of a video that I don't care for, thereby saving viewing time as well as storage space. Take care 'n' thanx in advance :-) Cloudchaser
