  1. You may have formatted the cost price/sales price incorrectly. Make sure the field includes numbers and decimals only, no currency signs. Also, make sure the sales tax descriptor name that you placed in the field is correctly set up in Inventoria. You don't have to re-do the 8K items...just make the changes in the spreadsheet for the data that didn't import (if necessary) and then change the quantity for each item to 0. It should update each item with the new data without adding additional quantity. Hope that helps!
  2. It doesn't sync/return stock to Inventoria because there are a number of scenarios that a refund does not equal a product return (customer service issue, sale not applied, faulty merchandise, etc). So if product is returned, it must be manually restocked in Inventoria.
  3. I purchased Express Invoice to create invoices for layaways and other product down payment scenarios. It's only $20.00 and it syncs with Inventoria if you use that as well.
  4. You need to find a receipt printer that works with a cash drawer. When you hit "print receipt" the default printer (aka your receipt printer) will control the cash drawer opening. You don't necessarily need Copper to control the drawer. The receipt printer can send the command.
  5. I've synced my data from Inventoria to Copper, but haven't fully tested it yet. I do know that there is definitely a one-way communication made when a sale is made in Copper to update the stock in Inventoria. I'm not so sure there is the same instant communication when a sale or invoice is created in Inventoria or when items are modified in Inventoria. I think you may have to go into the Sync Apps tab and press "Update Now" to reflect the Inventoria changes in Copper. I'll keep testing and let ya'll know what I uncover.
  6. Wait, then why would there be separate "Web Access" and "Sync Apps" tabs? Wouldn't "Web Access" lead you to believe it's just that? Web Access? Sync Apps uses the Inventoria IP address and port, not the 1096 port that is reserved for Copper. I need someone from NCH tech team to clarify.
  7. Thanks! That makes sense. It would be nice if there was a cloud interface to Copper like there is for Inventoria. Then we'd have an online and offline POS solution. I have a brick and mortar store but also sell at markets and fairs. For now, I'll use Inventoria in the field to create my sales.
  8. I see that Copper can be set up with web access locally and publically, but I'm unable to do so on port 1096. Is this the default port or is there another to try? I've completely disabled my Windows Firewall and I'm pretty sure my brand new router is a UPnP NAT. What am I doing wrong?
