    Modems that work

I'm not in the USA, but I before I purchased a CallURL telephony board, I used a D-Link fax/data/voice modem DFM-565E. This modem connected with the serial port. There are other models which use USB. I don't know if D-Link is available in the US, but it works fine and is cheap. But not as good as the CallURL board I have now: reacts slower on key-presses; lower sound quality; didn't detect end-of-call tone on the phone line here, but if you're looking for a simple, cheap modem, it's OK. Further, see NCH's website for other modems. Regards, Martijn
  2. This is interesting, I will look into these drivers too. The first time I installed the CallURL card (received it just a week ago), the computer (new Dell GX280n) started normal. But after another reboot, it started very very slowly. First it seemed to help to completely power down (remove the power plug), but still once in a while it would start slowly. Eventually, I moved the CallURL PCI card to the other available PCI slot. And so far this has solved the problem. Now it always starts as normal. Actually the installation of the CallURL drivers is not very smooth. I haven't figured out exactly what happens, but the installation from the original CD doesn't seem to work 100%. It looks like WinXP re-installs the drivers after reboot, as if the original CallURL CD didn't register the drivers. Martijn

    genfunc problem

Hi Mary, yes you can do that with version 3.01 In 2.43 I used to do this by reading the variable from a textfile in the very first OGM. Probably this is the same in 2.41 (?) Just one simple textfile containing: init,0 Then use getdata.exe to read the value of init and return this as the variable count (or another name if you prefer). This way count is set with value 0. Regards, Martijn

    GenFunc Plugin

See the topic about CallSequenceNo from 'bearded'. Regards, Martijn
  5. Hi, the Fax plug in can send a fax to a number entered by the called using MSFax. However, does anyone know if it is possible to send the fax in the same call. So if the caller is calling with a fax machine, can IVM start the transmission of the fax while the caller presses the button on his/her faxmachine to receive the fax instantly? Somebody wrote a plug-in for this maybe? Thanks for your help, Martijn

    OGM Manager

Does anyone know how to let the OGM Manager show the OGMs in alphabetic order by default, and not in logical order. I have about 70 OGMs and it takes about a minute to open OGM manager with logical ordering. Would like to change default to alphabetic to speed up the process. It's just annoying. Thanks, Martijn
  7. I am just doing something like this myself, so it's easy for me to try and help you out. Download these plugins from the nch website: getdata.exe genfunc.exe savedata.exe Create a textfile with the following line in it: count,0 Name it "countsuccess.csv" In the OGM where the caller ends up when they pressed the correct numbers, go to the Advanced Tab. (if they didn't answer correctly, they end up in another OGM, right?) Add those plugins with these arguments: (and in this order) getdata.exe countsuccess.csv count genfunc.exe ++ %data% savedata.exe countsuccess.csv count %result% Just make sure that you include the complete path to the csv file with the filename. This works for me, as I have almost the same situation here. Success! Martijn
