    Starting point

I´d actually recomend that you do not use soft phones. They do not work as well as IP phones or ATAs like the PAP2 from linksys. For each PAP2 you can connect two telephones (2 extensions), so you would need four in total. If you prefer an IP phone I can certainly recommend the Grandstream BT101. Fantastic quality and allows call transfer Saludos

    call transfer route

Hi, I just received the answer to my questions from Axon technical support (thanks for that..). Here it is: Hi, No the audio will not be routed through your network. More complex answer: If Axon determines that the two parties cannot route directly to each other, it will insert a relay and route the audio through the Axon computer. In most cases this shouldn't happen. 2) Diverting the call automatically would go through your network yes. It will affect your bandwidth, but not by that much, because there is only SIP messaging data going through your network and no actual audio.
  3. I´d like to attend calls and then transfer them to an external phone number. For that I have setup an extra extension. In its properties I´ve checked the option "Transfer the call if not answered" and typed the number. It seems to work nicely. My question is: once I hung up and the other two parties keep talking, will the call be routed through my network? Also if I want to divert the call automatically using this method, would that be routed through my network? In other terms would that affect my bandwith? I´d really appreciate your help Cheers
