I have paid version and upgraded to 3.02 and it's the worst thing I ever did, have downgraded back to 2.14(I think) until they sort it out. But now having load issues with the previous version that I didn't have before - takes about 25 minutes to open a project. Love this software but they are making it unworkable.

Ok, after upgrading to 3.02 (NIGHTMARE!) and then downgrading again it seems when I open a project it is taking ages (approx 25mins) It never used to be this slow before and I don't know what I have changed. It appears to be recreating the cache each time and not saving and I'm sure it used to be before (I have checked settings and I DO NOT have the boxed ticked to delete on exit so it can't be that). Cache is stored in a temp folder though, do I need to change where it is stored for it to save? Sorry if this is a really novice question but would really appreciate the help from any expert out there please. This is making working with the software really difficult and I have paid for it now so I'm stuck with it. I've tried other software but they seem to throw the audio sync out on MKV files so really want to make this work. Thanks in advance for your help :-) Angie

I've got the system re-installed but now it says my project is not recognized in the old version. HELP feel like crying. Can't use the new version and now previous version won't open file. I have spent days on this video and scared I have lost it all. Before prompt to download new version is given a warning should come up telling you that you will not be able to back date... Oh and have managed to clear my cache through software and it deleted 20GB!

I upgraded to 3.02 last night (after crashing issues) but my current project took over an hour to load (appears to have taken 7gb of hard drive space) and is unworkable as it keeps freezing. My project is nearly finished so I just want to go back to the previous version but I'm not sure how. Do I just re-install from free download and then add my registration number? Also I saved my project in the new software, will it still load up in my previous one now? and finally does anyone know why it took so much of my hard drive space and where it would have been stored (I'm thinking temp cache but I'm a novice so not sure where to find & delete) - the video was approx 11 mins long but made up from clips from 15 mkv files (approx 40mins per file). I'm desperate to get my nearly completed project back after days of work. If anyone can help me you would make this young lady very happy. Many thanks in advance, Angie

Also forgot to mention that when it opened the files and processed it took about 7gb of my hard drive - is this normal? is it related to cache and how to I remove it? thanks

Guys I need help please. After videopad kept crashing last night I installed the update as prompted but I'm now getting the issue you all mention (an hour to load project and my clips have changed - i.e text out of sync and audio changed and it is so slow it is unworkable). This was a practically converted project that I have been working on for days so just want to go back to my previous version. Can someone advise how I do this please? Also concerned that now I have saved the project file in this new version will it still be ok when I go back to the previous version? I've spent so many hours working on this I just want to get it completed....THANK YOU SO MUCH IN ADVANCE for any advice :-)
