What is the proper method to purchase merchandise and track it?
I pay cash for my inventory so I'm not billed or on an account.
I tired entering a payment transaction, but that does not detail what was purchased, quantities, etc.
I tried to create a PO which lets me detail the purchase (but not the freight or tax charges). Once its a PO I do not see how to turn this into a received order that is paid. I was going to enter my orders in a two step process. PO then immediate received since I pay immediately for my goods.
I do not see how to turn a PO into being received or a way to link the PO with a payment.
Any ideas would be great.
