Sorry, my fault entirely. Not a Mixpad problem, which worked perfectly when I sorted out hardware settings. The result can be heard tomorrow at my website.

I have created a MIDI backing track for my song. I have set Track 1 to record from Stereo Mix, and Track 2 from Internal Mic on my Windows 7 Ultimate HP i5 laptop. I am monitoring on headphones. But when I record, the Stereo Mix sounds are also recorded on Track 2 (Internal Mic). If I only enable the Internal Mic track and playback the backing, it is also recorded, even if I am not singing. I think the multitrack recording capabilities of Mixpad wlould be wonderful flor me if I could get ovefr this issue.
