    Slideshow

Is Photostage the program that you are using? https://www.nchsoftware.com/slideshow/index.html A free version is here. It may prompt to upgrade to a license version, but that shouldn't be required. Reinstall if necessary. It should not pixelate. What is the resolution of the original? What is the resolution of the export? They should be similar or identical, for best quality. Or the export can be smaller. But if it's considerably larger than the original, expect quality degradation.

    Video cutting

If it's video editing you have in mind, use Videopad. https://www.nchsoftware.com/videopad/index.html Prism is a converter.
  3. Reinstall the Wavepad version that has the less desirable normalization menu. No need to re-download. This can take several installs. Odd as it may seem, slightly different features and menus may appear per install, even with the same release. This is marketing related. As for screenshots, a link is the way to go. Upload the shot to a free server, get a public (shared) link and post it here.
  4. Install the 64-bit release and the problem should be gone. If not, see this post. It applies not only to 360 video.
  5. There are numerous audio utils available on the Net. NCH offers several... https://www.nch.com.au/software/soundrec.html In your case, the file is played in Windows Media Player (or the like) and captured by the audio utility - to create a new, standardized file. Perhaps you can discover what caused the difference in recordings between the good and bad files, so it doesn't repeat in the future. ingredients_better.mp3
  6. Corrected with an audio capture utility. add_and_mix.mp3 prepare_and_fill)bag.mp3 take_out_the_churros.mp3 serve _with_chocolate.mp3 The issue has been reported.
  7. Assuming that the original images are all the same length... (Double-click to enlarge.) Length.mp4
  8. Grab this release (13.57). The issue began with 13.59, AFAIK.
  9. Upgrade to at least 13.67 and you should be good. The current release is here.
  10. Confirmed; a bug in that release. It was fixed in 13.67. Upgrade to it or another version within your six-month window and you should be fine. Ignore any virus warnings.
  11. There was a bug in some earlier versions. Please upgrade to any release - 13.67 or later - that falls within the six-month free period since your purchase. Find them all here. Ignore any virus warnings. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee is required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. If there's an issue, you can always revert.
  12. While they may seem the same as others that succeed, there's something about those files that is non-standard, apparently. Here's what one utility reports... They fail in both Wavepad and Videopad, play okay in MPC-BE and WMP. Please leave your links active for several days. The attached conversions will work for you in Videopad. Log in, then right-click | Save Audio As to the PC. Sifttheflour1.mp3 add water and mix1.mp3
  13. What version of Videopad is running? Test the latest. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee is required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. If there's an issue, you can always revert. First thing, prior to loading, go to OPTIONS | DISK tab and Clear Unused Cache Files. Please share a file or two that will not load, and someone here will take a look at them. Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, right-click the link and Share. Copy the result and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view.
  14. 7.51 is dated, but if it has succeeded in the past there's little reason it shouldn't now. Go to OPTIONS | DISK tab and Clear Unused Cache Files, then load the project. Have you recently upgraded the PC in any manner? You might try the latest on a trial basis. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee is required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. If there's an issue, you can always revert. Someone here will be glad to check out your project if you share it. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. Right-click the file and click SHARE. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  15. Unable to replicate your issue in v13.37 here. Programmed audio fades at the head and end of a project, and at the head and end of clips. After saving and reloading the project, all fades were intact. Under OPTIONS | DISK tab, Clear Unused Cache Files, then load the project. You might also test the current release. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee is required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. If there's an issue, you can always revert.
  16. Odd indeed. What version of Videopad is being used? Open Windows Volume Mixer by right-clicking the speaker icon at the bottom-right of the screen. In Windows 11... Confirm that the Videopad audio slider is at full volume. If still no joy, please share your project for analysis. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Cache Issues

You can adjust the low space warning But other than that, there is no auto-clean feature. It's wise to clear the cache prior to starting a new project. In the current release a 4GB project is caching 2GB worth of files here. If you are running an older release, caching may be different. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
  18. Send the company a note. https://www.nch.com.au/software/buyfaqcontact.html A purchased version doesn't expire, so there's no mandate to update. The latest can always be test driven, even if unlicensed.
  19. Right-click in the graph area of the 360 effect and Delete All Keyframes.
  20. You tacked on to an eight-year-old thread. Much has changed. Mention which version is being used - look at the bottom-left of the VP window. In recent releases, under OPTIONS | MEDIA tab uncheck this box if you don't want VP to auto-normalize imported files. If that's not your answer, come back with specifics.
  21. You can test drive the latest release on a trial basis without upgrading. There's also a free version with limited functionality, which may or may not include multicam. Lacking that feature, the same result can be manually built, keeping in mind that higher tracks override lower tracks. But it's a lot more work. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.

    Saving clips

Once a clip has been trimmed - on the timeline - it can then be dragged to the bin. This moves it from the timeline to the bin. Record_2023_12_03_06_54_29_907.mp4
  23. Have you tried horizontally expanding the timeline, using the slider at the bottom-left of the window?
  24. borate

    Slo-Mo

Wrong button - the one under the preview window is strictly for playback. Right-click on the clip itself, either in the bin or on the timeline, and Change Clip Speed. Changing speed on the bin clip won't affect that clip on the timeline - unless the bin clip is added to the timeline after the bin change. Changing speed on an existing timeline clip won't affect that clip in the bin. They're independent.
