  1. Attempts at 8K export will result in this... File a suggestion. 8K files will import - slowly - but use of proxies is strongly advised. Source fps was 24.000. Export max was 144 - no 240 was seen.
  2. The issue with the Old Film effect should be resolved in an upcoming version. Looks good now in beta. As for version 10.26 (64-bit), linked above, a test here exported normally using the H265 encoder.
  3. The behavior is intended. Backward compatibility means newer versions can open older version files, not the other way around.
  4. The options are normally there. But it's possible that your PC either doesn't support them or that a reinstall (no need to download again) will cause them to appear. Here's the v11.45 link. If you updated registration in April, then v11.48 and any release within the six-month period forward, should be licensed. Be sure to confirm the status of the video driver and Direct-X.
  5. Go to OPTIONS | EDITING tab and at the bottom, in the Advanced section, choose None (CPU only). Also, confirm that the video driver and Direct-X are up to date... https://www.nchsoftware.com/videopad/kb/1772.html
  6. Expand the timeline by moving the slider at the bottom-right, to see whether a lyric snippet is hiding. Update to the current version. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. Or, if registered, download and install a release that is within the six-month window. Find it here. If the issue persists come back.
  7. Thanks for sharing. Totally normal export here at suggested default settings, using this version. Before initial loading of a project, go to OPTIONS | DISK tab and Clear Unused Cache Files. Confirm that the video driver and Direct-X are up to date... https://www.nchsoftware.com/videopad/kb/1772.html To get a smoother font scroll at the end, try exporting at a constant 24 or 25fps rate and perhaps extending the scroll duration. Report back.
  8. The MPEG4 encoder with average quality setting is another option. You may see decent file size and quality faster than H265. -0-0- Backward compatibility means newer versions can open older version files, not the other way around. This is intended behavior. As for version 11.32 (32-bit), an H265 export test run here succeeded without incident.
  9. Confirmed and reported. Use v11.45 for now. Under OPTIONS | EDITING tab, try different Advanced | Video options to see if one improves speed...
  10. Try the ROTATION effect...
  11. Select all tracks and GROUP them, via a right-click. Record_2022_04_23_15_04_05_235.mp4
  12. At anytime, click OPTIONS | DISK tab and Clear Unused Cache Files. Do this before starting a new project. Answer a few questions to help zero in on the issue... Click the three-lined menu at the top-left of the VP screen, then click FILE | HELP | ABOUT. What version does it list and does it say "64-bit?" Try this release. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. Let us know if caching is quicker. On average, what's the format (mp4, MOV, AVI?) of the source files and how large are they? How long is the project? In general, don't load source files that won't be used in the project and try to minimize the number of tracks.
  13. Good thought. https://www.nch.com.au/suggestions/index.html?software=VideoPad To see the version # download the file, right-click and choose PROPERTIES | Details tab.
  14. That's not what is seen here on j9full.mp4 - H264 (defaults) in v11.48. Still very much out of sync due to discontinuities in the source file. Perhaps it would help if that were first re-encoded? This issue is being worked on, so stay tuned for further developments.
  15. Audio menu - turn on scrubbing. Works well with the arrow keys in recent versions.
  16. That it was - all 40.39 of it. Looks fine. Try it in Windows Media Player. There's nothing wrong with the file as exported here.
  17. No, but 11.38 should be good as well. The suggestion was to try the latest beta (test) version. You can always reinstall 11.38.
  18. What version of VP is being used? Try this one. If still no joy please share the project as instructed above. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
  19. LOSSLESS refers to the export mode, not the title of the 94-file project. After effects are added, that mode won't apply and most clips will be re-encoded.
  20. Have you tried clicking ADD TEXT | Simple Text on the HOME toolbar, then pasting in the custom text that's been composed elsewhere? Or choose one of the many Videopad text options.
  21. Thanks for sharing your project. It was exported as LOSSLESS (1920x1080 mp4). Tested fine in five different players. So the issue isn't with the file, but with your set up. Perhaps the PS4 is not correctly configured. Does Windows Media Player display the file on your laptop?
  22. The envelope at the top of this forum looks like this... If an exported file won't play, chances are that's the fault of the player. Upload it to a free server like https://www.google.com/drive/ or https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/onedrive/online-cloud-storage. Get a shared (public) link and post it here or to me in a private message. We'll see how the file plays. Remember, if you use Google Drive, make the link so "anyone can view" - not "restricted.
  23. The converter just re-encodes. Make the speed change in Videopad. But re-encoding shouldn't be necessary. As noted earlier, next recording - not the export - aim for a somewhat higher bitrate (quality). That may solve the issues. The speed change tested here on your full project didn't alter synchronization and there was no black at the start. But there were black blocks during the intro. In the current VP release the black blocks at the head of the project could also be banished by turning off GPU encoding - OPTIONS | EDITING tab | Video Processor.
  24. No tellin'. File a suggestion... https://www.nch.com.au/suggestions/index.html?software=VideoPad There appears to be GPU usage now with that codec - a positive enhancement.
