  1. Please post to this forum... https://nch.invisionzone.com/forum/10-express-scribe/ Also, if you share the file here in the Videopad forum, it will be analyzed. Just follow these steps... Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."
  2. The next screen lists them all. Select the dupes and press the DELETE button.
  3. Two things you can do. Reinstall (no need to download). The pop up may then show up as horizontal. This may take several installs, but they are quick. Update to the latest. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
  4. The pop up is pretty much out of the way in recent versions, and there's no way to suppress it. When clicking the timeline for a bin clip ... When clicking the timeline for a sequence clip... The L key will create an all-track split.
  5. If a sequence is going to be burnt as a video DVD, chapters can be added to the DVD by setting bookmarks. First, add bookmarks to your timeline: Control-click the timeline at the position where you would like the chapter separator to be and select Set Bookmark. Change the name and color of the bookmark if you like (this will not affect your DVD chapters), then click OK. Repeat the above steps for every position you want to start a new chapter. Each bookmark will be used as a chapter separator. Second, choose to export your movie to DVD: Follow the instructions in Saving, Sharing, or Burning a Video to burn a DVD. A dialog will appear, asking if you would like to export your bookmarks as DVD Chapters. Select Use bookmarks as chapters. Here's that dialog... Click ADD MENU for more options. How successful this is may depend somewhat on the DVD player. For more extensive authoring try Express Burn.
  6. Can't spot a thing wrong with your project. No freezes. This hints that it may be a resource issue - video editing is resource intensive. What are your PC's specs: CPU/GPU/RAM/Free space on the drive? If yours is Windows 11, 64-bit, please Install this 64-bit version of Videopad, which can utilize memory more extensively. Confirm that the PC video driver and Direct-X are up to date... https://www.nchsoftware.com/videopad/kb/1772.html -0-0- One way to ease the load and speed export is to experiment with this procedure, starting with a clean project (Clear Cache Files)... 1. Create the master video (no audio), making certain that the first frame exactly matches the last. In your case, the length will be 6:58.369. 2. Export that sequence. 3. Start a new project (Clear Cache Files), and ADD the sequence you just exported. 4. Click the Sequence tab (top-left in the bin), click the sequence and click the ADD button (under the Preview window). Do this repeatedly until the project length is what you want. 5. Add the music cuts to track 2. Just ignore the silent track 1. To make certain that video isn't disturbed you may want to right-click to the left of the video track and LOCK TRACK. 6. UNlock video first if you want crossfades and add them at each junction. When adding crossfades, a prompt appears: choose OVERLAP (not FREEZE). If you don't use transitions, export will be faster, but the trans will be a cut, of course. 7. Export as LOSSLESS video.
  7. Your posts have been consolidated here. No need to post more than once. This forum is a good place to report issues. True bugs are relayed to developers. What version of Videopad is being used? Try this beta release. It is a test, but is working well here. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. If the problem persists, sharing the project is the best way to resolve it. As noted above, follow these steps closely... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  8. Good to hear. Prior to adding files for a new project, go to OPTIONS | DISK tab and Clear Unused Cache files. This can be done at anytime during a session as well. But if returning to a project where no other has been worked on in the interim, don't clear the cache. Reloading will be much faster than starting fresh.
  9. What version of Videopad is being used? Is the clip reversed? Install the latest release and see if the issue persists. If so, share the project and someone here will troubleshoot. Just follow these steps... Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  10. That appears to have broken after version 8.65. It's been reported. You can do the same here... https://www.nch.com.au/software/bug.html?software=VideoPad Stay tuned to this thread for updates.
  11. Grouping other tracks is easy. Click the first clip, hold down <shift> and click the last. Right-click on a clip and GROUP CLIPS. There may be no need to group. Just select the clips to be affected, then drag. Record_2022_05_27_10_30_16_974.mp4 If a clip is inserted precisely at a split point, the clips to the right of the insert will move to the right.
  12. The YT uploader referred to their uploader - from the YT studio... https://support.google.com/youtube/answer/57407?hl=en&co=GENIE.Platform%3DDesktop Videopad's direct upload was just tested here. 1st test succeeded, 2nd failed with your error message. So it's still a work in progress. The quota should be increased in the future so the issue doesn't occur as often, if ever.
  13. No record of that in 8.45 here, but each PC is different. Many versions are available at the Old Versions site linked above. Split-screen is back in shape in version 11.69, the current beta (test) release.
  14. Addressed in a private message.
  15. Indications are that the Videopad quota for YT direct uploads occasionally is oversubscribed. It's not a VP fault. It's balking here just now as well. Try it again at an off-time. This will be reported to the company. In the interim, the YT uploader is the alternative, though not as slick.
  16. Let's see one of those files. That way someone here can track this down. Sharing is easy and can be private...
  17. Fiddle with a transparent tree on a higher track than the text, which could be placed in 360. Here, the face is the tree, the text is scrolled left to right. 3D.mp4
  18. Sounds like a Windows issue. Open the PAINT program by searching for it in the Start Menu entries. Then click FILE | OPEN FILE and choose your PNG. You can use FILE | SAVE AS to save it in another format. If that's not the fix, share the file and someone will check it out.
  19. And, if by text "on top" you meant positioned at the top of the frame, simply drag the text clip in the preview window...
  20. Good to hear. But there should be no issue with loading mp3 files in the latest release. There isn't here. If possible, share that file in mp3 format. If this originally was an audio/video mp4, split out the audio in Wavepad.
  21. Go to OPTIONS | DISK tab and Clear Unused Cache Files. Restart Videopad and load your file. What version is being used? Try the latest. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. If still no joy, share the file and someone will check it out.
  22. Since you are licensed, suggest that you upgrade to the latest paid 64-bit release. Two AVIs were tested without problems. No other reports of corrupted AVI audio have been seen, but folks here would like to analyze your file. Please share it...
  23. In the Videopad bin search often works by clicking focus in the bin, then simply typing the first letter of the clip name. The clip name should highlight. In a PC folder there should be a search box, often at the top-right of the window. Or press <ctrl-F>. That may invoke a search box.
  24. The PC folder in which the snaps will be saved is shown under OPTIONS | DISC tab in Videopad. Normally it is the PICTURES folder. Forget F11. Use a right-click in the preview window as outlined above. If you want a folder named "Videopad" then create that on your PC and point the Videopad option to that folder.
  25. The way to capture a still image in Videopad is with a right-click in the preview window: Take Snapshot (or clip or sequence, whichever is being displayed). The snap will be shown as a thumbnail in the VP bin (top-left of the window) and be saved to your PC's PICTURES folder.
