  1. You tacked on to a very old thread which likely dealt with different export issues. First, Save Project File AS routinely, giving it a unique # or name, so as not to overwrite prior saves. Using Save Project Files (no AS) will overwrite. From the HOME tab, that choice is available by clicking the chevron to the right of the Save Project button on the toolbar. Then you're protected. Close the program. Restart it and prior to loading anything, go to OPTIONS | DISK tab and Clear Unused Cache Files. Restart again, then load the project. If still no joy... Install the latest release. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. Is the problem still there? If so, please share the project so it can be analyzed. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  2. Tested two popping sounds here, and there was a reduction in 'noise' when moving the slider from -40 to 0. Examples... Sound_2022_08_02_01_38_57_47.mp3 Sound_2022_08_02_01_34_48_345.mp3 First sound in each is at -40, second at 0. And the associated waveforms... For more control, use WavePad. Right-click the VP audio track and there may be an Edit With WavePad choice. Make adjustments, then click the X to close and save. If there's no menu item, use WP independently, SAVE, import to VP.
  3. Yes, that's being addressed. See Lancelot's thread.
  4. Did you adjust the Gate Level? Using a white noise file here, there's considerable difference between the gate extremes, which hints that it's working. Perhaps it doesn't apply to the specific noise/file you tested??
  5. Thanks. Turn off 'normalize external' under OPTIONS | MEDIA tab, then restart VP. Clear Unused Cache Files, restart again, and audio should be normal. This issue was spotted earlier and is being looked into.
  6. Your wish has been granted - <ctrl-shift-X> now exports ALL beginning with the current 11.85 beta.
  7. Please upload a file that does this, so others can inspect it.
  8. Is OPTIONS | EDITING tab 'normalize external' enabled or not? What happens when it's changed to the opposite of what it is now?
  9. It's unclear here as well; VP doesn't automatically update. However, when it needs missing elements it may 'install on demand.' Whatever works!😀
  10. What version? Look at the bottom-left of the window. Try the latest. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. If the VOB file names are the same, try adding incremental numbers to each - VOB1, VOB2, VOB3, etc. prior to importing them into Videopad. Share a few files that have the issue and someone will check it out. Very easy. Upload them to a free server such as Google Drive or MSOneDrive, get a shared (public) link and post that link here.
  11. Try restarting VP, then prior to loading a new project, Clear Unused Cache Files, under OPTIONS | DISK tab.. What version of Videopad? What method is being used to import the DVD tracks?
  12. In v11.80 after applying the CROP effect and then CROP AND ZOOM exporting, the result is just the same. Try the latest version, even if unlicensed. Just retain your old installer. Many changes have been made since the 8x series.
  13. None that come to mind, other than simply investigating on your own, and checking the current HELP file... https://tinyurl.com/235h5df4
  14. The linked file is 21:49 and loads fully in less than ten seconds in version 11.80, 32- or 64-bit. Try installing this release.
  15. Share the file and someone will take a look. Upload to a free server, get a public (shared) link and post it here.
  16. If this was your original... 16:9 And this is the desired result... 9:16 Then set a custom export 9:16 resolution and select CROP and ZOOM. Or apply the ZOOM effect (instead of Crop), export at a 9:16 resolution, letterboxed. Images look relatively clean and comparable. Your VP version is dated. Try the latest.
  17. What version of VP is being used? Try the latest. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. Yes, let's take a look. Upload files to a free server, MSOneDrive, Google Drive or the like. Get a shared (public) link and post it here. If using Google Drive, be sure that the link isn't 'restricted' but instead 'anyone can view.'
  18. If these are 'pictures' (still images), simply select (highlight) them all, then right-click on any one of them and set a new duration. length.mp4
  19. Please share the minimum project content that demonstrates the issue, if possible. Thanks.
  20. Time to share the project, and we'll get to the bottom of the issue. Please carefully follow the instructions above.
  21. Please share the project, so someone here can attempt to replicate what it's doing there. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. 22. When a project is saved as a VPJ, that file should contain pointers to the source files. Place them in the same folder on the Mac prior to importing to VP and see if that helps. The VPJ (project file) can be Saved AS to any folder you choose. That won't alter the pointers to the source files that it contains.
  23. Don't have a Mac to test here, but this is where it is in Windows... If the issue persists, file a bug report. https://www.nch.com.au/software/bug.html?software=VideoPad Share the project as above, if possible. We'd like to see what it does on Windows.
  24. Should never prompt unless the source files have been moved. What version of VP is being used? Try the current release. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. To rule out cache corruption, restart VP and before loading anything, go to OPTIONS | DISK tab and Clear Unused Cache Files. Then load the project. Save Project File AS routinely, giving it a unique # or name, so as not to overwrite prior saves. Using Save Project Files (no AS) will overwrite. From the HOME tab, that choice is available by clicking the chevron to the right of the Save Project button on the toolbar. Clicking on the VPJ should load the project with no need to resolve. If it still does, please share your project. Someone will take a look and come up with a fix. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER.
