  1. A saved template is handy but isn't needed for this procedure; that was just FYI. Simply copy down the end #s of the prior clip. Start a new clip and input those #s. An example. Clip 1... Clip 2... Clip 1: Place the effects cursor on the last keyframe; the timeline cursor tracks. Trim the end point by clicking the top of the timeline cursor, then the ] bracket. Now run the effects cursor to the end of the clip and copy down the numbers. Clip 2: Add it to the timeline and choose the same effect. Input the #s you copied and click the small, green + sign. Repeat the process for each clip. The result should be smooth.

  3. Having a larger image may help determine whether a ZOOM animation of a single clip can be used, without distortion. Your method might succeed by copying the end effect parameters of clip1 to those at the start of clip 2, and so forth. Takes experimentation. An effect can be saved by clicking the folder in the toolbar... Then it becomes just another effect choice, at the bottom of the window.
  4. If the mic was muted, audio likely wasn't recorded. But someone here will be glad to take a look if you share the file. Here's how... Upload the file/s to a free server, such as Google Drive or MS OneDrive, get a shared (public) link, copy the link and paste it here or to me in a Private Message via the mail envelope in the top-right corner of this forum. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with link can view."
  5. Cannot replicate the glitch here. Need your source files, as instructed below. Right-click to SAVE the video. Yes!.mp4 Install the version linked above, even though it may seem to be the same as the one you're using now. The way to assess what's occuring is for you to share the project - either in the forum or privately. It's easy.. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  6. Please supply the original image, not downsized.
  7. What version is being used? Install this one and see if the problem goes away. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
  8. Glad it worked out. Only change the GPU setting as a test, if the issue surfaces again.
  9. Animate a CROP... See http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/videopad/win/effects_animating.html 1.mp4
  10. Did you uninstall with Revo, or via a standard Windows program uninstall? Have no clue as to why it happened, but you can file a report here. Reference this thread. There's a hint here that this may be an issue with the PC. But that's conjecture. One more thing you might try if it reoccurs... go to OPTIONS | Advanced tab. For the GPU video processor, choose None (CPU only).
  11. Your projects should all be stored in a PC folder. Here's that's a subfolder of the Documents folder, titled VideoPad Projects. But wherever they're kept, always back up - as described earlier. Removing the program should not affect projects stored there.
  12. Your project video also is normal, as is the ability to select effects. Be sure to select (click) on the track prior to clicking the Video Effects button. Try the FX button on the clip itself, which is blue because there's a ZOOM effect already in place. As a last ditch effort, do this... Close Videopad, after backing up the project of course. Install this free utility. Instruct it to delete Videopad and when it requests scans for registry files delete all those items as well. Reboot, and reinstall Videopad.
  13. If the blue, blank clip is all there is in the project, then the VPJ is all that was needed. And it works fine here...
  14. No, that's just the VPJ. First, have the project on the timeline. Then go to FILE | Back Up Project Files to a Folder or Save PORTABLE project as. This will create a numbered folder contained all the files. Upload that folder. Then the project can be seen here just as you do there. Here's the current release. What version were you using originally?
  15. Just about out of ideas here. That behavior has never before been reported. In lieu of not being able to see the project, suggest you try starting another project. Does it also fail to open an effects window? Did you delete the suggested files in the two folders - then reboot and reinstall? If available, try another PC. The effects window can be opened via toolbar icon, the menu bar, or clicking on the F in a clip's thumbnail, or even via the Menu FILE drop-down. T The Google link is to the VPJ control file, which isn't of use in itself. Follow the instructions above to create a folder that contains that file + all the source files.
  16. After creating the folder, as above, what is its size? Google Drive or MS OneDrive should have no problem with up to 5GB, unless the drives are full. Don't forget to try rebooting the PC.
  17. Unusual. Three more things to try... 1. Launch VP with a right-click and Run As Administrator. 2. Close VP, then use Windows Explorer (the file manager) to delete all files in these two folders... "C:\Users\<account name>\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\Components" "C:\Program Files (x86)\NCH Software\Components" (or the path without the x86) Reboot. Then reinstall the latest version. 3. Share the project and someone here will see what's going on. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately.
  18. Three things to try, in turn... First Save Project File AS. Do this routinely, giving it a unique # or name, so as not to overwrite prior saves. Using Save Project Files (no AS) will overwrite. From the HOME tab, that choice is available by clicking the caret to the right of the Save Project button on the toolbar. 1. Close Videopad. Relaunch, but don't load anything. Open OPTIONS | DISK tab and Clear Unused Cache Files. 2. Reinstall the program. 3. Install the latest release. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. If none of these measures is the fix, come back here.
  19. Don't know that this is what you want, but here are Videopad's 360 capabilities... A 360 image or video is warped in a way that allows certain viewers to look around the scene as though they are at the centre of it. 360 Media can be either monoscopic or stereoscopic Loading 360 Media 360 image clips and / or video clips can be added to any project, using the instructions in Loading or Creating Clips. Previewing 360 Media Either Sequence or clip preview. will have a toggle button available to switch between Flat and 360 views. While enabled you can click and drag within the preview to rate the direction of the view. Editing 360 Media Editing 360 media works the same as any other media. You can apply effects, such as black and white, but overlaying text and other images might not look correct. In this case, overlay a clip on a new track, and apply the Place in 360 effect. You should then be able to preview this by clicking and moving the preview. Saving 360 Media Saving 360 media works the same as saving normal media.
  20. Thanks for the feedback on your sleuthing efforts. Reportedly, there's no perfect solution; applying this software fix may break something else. Yet research continues. New developments will be passed along here or in a private message.
  21. Set export to Custom YouTube 9:16. See the Personal Message for details.
  22. Export choices are limited to just one of the three. Crop & Zoom OR Stretch, for example ... unless one of those choices has been previously applied. Please share your project, someone will check it our and come up with an answer. The process isn't difficult and takes but a few minutes.
  23. Yes, P-in-P wasn't available in that version. But SCALE and POSITION do the same, as you discovered. Test drive the latest when you're in the mood, to see what's new., though it won't be licensed. Retain your old installer and registration info.
  24. The easiest way to get that result is with the Picture-In-Picture effect. Try the Presets. Adjust the sliders. The clip or image on the higher track, the pup here, will be the windowed insert. Study this...
  25. Please voice your concern via the above links.
