  1. You can export a sequence that contains only a text clip, or a video logo ... to be imported as a clip for future projects. One way: place it on a separate track, hide other tracks, export.
  2. At the top-left of the window it should indicate license status... Save Project File AS routinely, giving it a unique # or name, so as not to overwrite prior saves. Using Save Project Files (no AS) will overwrite. From the HOME tab, that choice is available by clicking the caret to the right of the Save Project button on the toolbar. Overinstall the current release. If no joy, first uninstall via Windows Control Panel | ADD/REMOVE PROGRAMS. Export setting are shown in the export window...
  3. What does it do when you attempt an export? Any error messages? What are your export settings? If yours a licensed version? What version? Share the project and someone will test it. This can be done privately and it's not difficult. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  4. Not the fault of Videopad. SSA files do not save font size or shadow info. That's determined by the player. Other settings seem to be good. A restored project should retain size settings.
  5. What version is that? Look at the left-bottom of the screen. What are your export settings? What are the PC's specs: GPU/CPU/RAM? Please share the project for analysis by the developers.
  6. Older versions are available here. Ignore any virus warnings. Though other reports of slow exports may result from different issues, we would like to see your project for analysis. Please take a few minutes to share it - either with a link here or to me in a Personal Message. Click the envelope at the top right of this forum. Just follow these instructions closely and we'll take a look. Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. 7. Import and export speed should not have degraded. Let's see the project (not the exported mp4), so an analysis can be run. Just follow the above instructions. If there's an issue, it surely will be addressed.
  8. If there's been no change in the project the FILE | SAVE PROJECT FILE item is unavailable. Toolbar icon will still offer that choice, as you noted. Confirmed as a little bug - to be remedied.
  9. Sorry, no. Include that in your support ticket to the company. Please report their response here - if any. Click the 'plugins' link in the VST box for some suggestions.
  10. It's tough to know what's happening without actually seeing what you see. This hints at a PC issue. 12.33 is the current release. Be aware that if the left-click button is held down while dragging the timeline cursor it will select the area - which turns blue.
  11. Several licensed releases - old and new - were checked with this plug in. Neither could detect it. Do you have others that are seen? So it may not be supported. Query NCH... https://tinyurl.com/r89tpcw
  12. When exporting the export window scrollbar may restart several times; that's normal. What is the format of the files in this project? 14. The MAC version. It's possible that this suggestion doesn't apply to it? File a suggestion.
  15. There's no provision for assigning keyboard commands, but there is an extensive list... http://help.nchsoftware.com/help/en/videopad/win64bitpaid/keyboardshortcuts.html As for how the effects interface is presented, reinstall Videopad repeatedly (no need to re-download). It may take half-a-dozen tries, but eventually "popular" should vanish. If you prefer this layout, let the company know... https://www.nch.com.au/suggestions/index.html?software=VideoPad
  16. The thread you replied to was dated and may not address what you have in mind. If your query isn't answered in this new thread please mention specifics. If it's a simple scroll from off-screen top to center screen, this will do the job. Note the text editor scroll options. If it's more complex. Nat's instructions in the earlier thread may be the best approach. Create the text and drop it onto the timeline. Add the MOTION or POSITION effect and animate the desired trajectory. Animation instructions are here. In essence, in the preview window drag the text to the desired starting position. Click the small green + sign above the graph to set the initial keyframes. Move the cursor to the right and drag the text to the next position. This automatically sets the 2nd keyframes. If you want the text to pause there, move the cursor farther right and click the green +. That will duplicate the previous keyframes. Move the cursor to the right again and reposition the text. Keyframes will be added automatically. The horizontal distance between keyframes determines the duration of the action between them. Takes some experimentation. If you make a mistake, press <ctrl-Z> to backtrack - step-by-step. For protection, Save Project File AS routinely, giving it a unique # or name, so as not to overwrite prior saves. Using Save Project Files (no AS) will overwrite. From the HOME tab, that choice is available by clicking the caret to the right of the Save Project button on the toolbar. 19. No change here, using version 12.33. The number 5 = 5 seconds 5: = 5 minutes.
  20. This could be a YT issue. Have you tested creating a video at that res and frame rate, then using the YT uploader? Share the project and someone here will take a look. Or submit it privately via Personal Messenger mail icon at the top-right of this forum. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. 22. Not too complicated. A keyframe is plotted with each move. After the first one is entered with the green + sign, each succeeding grid move plots a new keyframe. Click this button if the grid isn't shown... Use the mouse to drag/size the grid in the preview window. Check out that help file linked above. For protection, Save Project File AS routinely, giving it a unique # or name, so as not to overwrite prior saves. Using Save Project Files (no AS) will overwrite.
