  1. There should be no issue with exporting as mp4. Please share your project and mention the export settings being used.
  2. Install this version. What are your export settings? If the problem persists, please share the project for analysis. It takes only a minute, can be private and isn't difficult. Just follow these steps closely... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. Upload --- Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER. Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. Get link --- Get a public link. If using Google Drive click GET SHAREABLE LINK. If necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" Share --- Click COPY LINK | DONE. Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me. It won't be shared. * Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES. Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.
  3. Select the folder for download. This will create a dated folder containing all the source files + the VPJ control file. Like this... Open the VPJ on any PC that has Videopad installed and the project will be loaded.
  4. "C:\Users\<PC name>\AppData\Roaming\NCH Software\VideoPad\EffectTemplate" Extension .vfc
  5. A clip can be trimmed in the (video) bin using the Set Start/Set End buttons... Then pressing ADD will drop it onto the sequence. Click the caret at the right of that button for more options. Or simply drag the clip. If changes are made to either the bin or the sequence clip, they will affect that area only. It's the same clip, but changes are independent. Numerous copies of a master bin clip (usually untrimmed) can be made by right-clicking the clip, choosing COPY, then right-clicking in an open area of the bin and clicking PASTE (insert). Copies will be incrementally numbered and changes made to one won't affect the others. There's no auto-update on the sequence for clips that are changed in the bin. But an newly edited bin clip can replace its sequence clip as instructed above.
  6. It is. Right-click the timeline clip, then click DELETE. This should leave a gap. Then insert your new clip from the video bin. If it's shorter than the original, right-click in the gap and CLOSE GAP. If it's longer, the clips to the right should move right.
  7. Thanks for sharing. Using 13.03, the linked version, fixed above, no difference noted between preview and export. Try that version. If still no joy, go into OPTIONS | ADVANCED tab and choose None(CPU only). Report back what works (or doesn't), and list your PC's specs: CPU/GPU/RAM.
  8. Check here. There's no mandate to upgrade; your purchased copy won't stop working. If it's doing the job, you might want to stick with it. The latest can always be test driven, to see if it offers something new. Retain your original installer and registration info.
  9. Preview display is what you should get, if you are exporting at the suggested settings or, perhaps, settings that closely match those of the bulk of the source files. Install this release. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. The only way to get this pinned down is if you share the project for analysis. It's easy, takes only minutes and can be done privately via Personal Messenger (top-right of this forum - click the envelope). Just follow these four steps closely... Share your project. Someone will take a look and come up with a fix. The process is easy, quick and can be done privately. Just follow these steps... Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left. Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER. Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER. 10. The RX clip was blank on export, and out of sync when the project was built as you desribed. Can't say why at this point, but there's something wrong with that file. It's been reported. Please leave your Google link up for a few days so the developers can access it. Version 7.5 is ancient. With the latest, try this... Replace the Sequence RX file with the Produce.mp4 file attached here. Right-click on the video below | Save Video As. Once that's done, with your project on the timeline, right-click Sequence RX in the bin (top-left) and click on Replace Clip File. Select Produce.mp4 Or follow the instructions in my Personal Message (click the mail folder at the top-right of this forum), where the bad file was replaced with the Produce.mp4 and other suggestions were incorporated. 1. Fades were added at the end of your clip and at the end of the project 2. Music level during your on-cam was lowered and your track was amplified to 125% 3. Video level increases were applied to all clips Thanks for sharing your work. Produce.mp4
  11. Something isn't kosher here. Let's see the project, so it can be analyzed. Takes only minutes and can be private. Just follow these four steps... 12. Please list those PC specs: CPU/GPU/RAM and which Videopad version is being used. (Look at the top-left of the Window). There may be an incompatibility with the video adapter that needs investigation.
  13. Without colorization lossless export takes less than 15 seconds, and video looks natural. With colorization, video is poor - apparently intended - but it won't export. (The TEMPERATURE effect is set to zero, so does nothing.) It appears that the file is non-standard - perhaps because it has no audio track. Tested in another editor it loads and exports with jerky colorbands (no effects). Here's what you can do... Load the project. Right-click the clip in the bin and Replace Clip File with the one in the PM. It's been re-encoded. Save AS, giving the project a new name. Export should take about thirty-minutes. Did you mean to specify STRETCH export mode? Try LETTERBOX instead. For more help click the ? at the top-right of the VP window. Use <ctrl-F> to bring up a FIND box.
  14. Very odd. Nothing like that seen here or reported to the forum. Install this release and report back, please. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info. If the issue persists, try this... Go to OPTIONS | ADVANCED tab and choose None(CPU only). Please report back whether these measures succeeded. List your PC's specs: CPU/GPU/RAM.
  15. If issues arise, come back here with details.
  16. V13.02 is recent and will work on W11. Here's the latest release. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
  17. It's obviously not right, so let's find out why. Install this release and report back. In any case please share your project for analysis. Takes only minutes and can be private. Follow these four steps... 18. Depending upon your needs, text may be a better choice, as described earlier. But as you are using subtitles, there won't be any bin icons. 1. Type the subtitle 2. Click ADD (upper left) 3. Position the red cursor if you don't want the next tile to immediate follow the first 4. Type 5. Add - and so on The default duration can be set in OPTIONS | EDITING tab. Or drag the red and blue brackets on the timeline to change duration and positioning. Subs.mp4
  19. What you're likely doing is using text overlays, above the video track - not subtitles (captions). Create one. Then in the bin (top-left), right-click it and COPY. Now right-click in an open area of the bin PASTE (Insert), as many times as needed. Shortcut is <ctrl-V>. To open the text editor, click one of the copies. Select and change the text. Overlay the clip on the timeline. The other copies in the bin aren't affected. Text.mp4
  20. OPTIONS | DISK tab | Clear Unused Cache Files. Do this before beginning a new project. That should clear all files. If done during editing, only unused files will be purged. You may need more disc space. Note the Cache Folder path in the options window. That can be changed to point to another drive - preferably an SSD or better.
  21. Post a screenshot link. https://nch.invisionzone.com/topic/23659-get-help-how-to-share-a-screenshot-or-project/?do=getLastComment Tried a reinstall? Here's the latest. For licensed users upgrades are free for up to six months from purchase date. After that, VP will continue to fully function but a fee will be required in order to register the newest. Retain your old install file and registration info.
  22. Try the wizard. From the HOME toolbar it's labeled either Video Maker or Templates. When you have gone through the steps of creating the title there will be EXPORT and a CREATE buttons. EXPORT will create a clip that can be added to the project later. CREATE places the title at the head of the project, on the timeline. Title.mp4
  23. High resolution is available for the Sequence window. Maximize it, then let the gray cache ribbon at the bottom complete. Now move the cursor, and the preview window should switch to hi-res. Alternatively, exit the maxed window and maximize it once again. In the future hi-res may also be available for Clip preview. High res.mp4
  24. VP can do a horizontal flip from right to left around a midpoint axis but that's not exactly a page turn. Perhaps a more animation savvy user will chime in here. In lieu of that suggest that you search for animate a page turn, to get some ideas.
  25. Sorry - don't have a definitive answer. Try different frame and bitrates. Results varied in tests here. Jerkiness was also evident on some of your clips rendered by another editor. On your next project you might test various shooting/recording options, if available. A lower resolution perhaps, to lighten the load at minimal quality sacrifice. That's not meant to be an excuse. Because a camera can do 4K doesn't mean that's best. Then again, only you can decide, and UHD is becoming common and should be able to be handled reasonably. Proxies can help. The timing issue in your other thread is being pursued.
