When starting Videopad, right-click on the executable and RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR. You can make this the default by right-clicking the executable, choosing PROPERTIES | COMPATIBILITY tab. Tic the Run As Administrator box. Did this succeed?

This thread is more than a year old, so the original poster is likely long gone. The Videopad normal version can be test driven, but if unregistered some features may be unavailable after the trial period. The free version may be somewhat limited from the outset.

Haven't spotted reports of that here. What are the PC's specs: CPU/GPU/RAM? Are you using the default export settings? Go to OPTIONS | ADVANCED (or EDITING) tab and in the bottom GPU processor area change from default to None (CPU Only). Report back.

On test files here there is GPU utilization during HEVC export. AVC source :31 file - similar result to the above. 70% GPU on a 25-minute project w/no efx. HEVC source :31 file - about 5-10%.

L’option Supprimer les fichiers fait référence aux fichiers programme VP, et non à votre projet ou aux fichiers sources. Si vous aviez supprimé ces fichiers programme, ils auraient été rétablis lors de l’installation de VP. Ne déplacez pas et ne supprimez pas de fichiers sources. Si VP se bloque, il y a une sauvegarde automatique. C’est normalement ici... HDD(C:)/(Nom d’utilisateur)/AppData/Roaming/NCH Software/VideoPad. Double-cliquez sur le fichier VPJ pour charger le projet. Enregistrez régulièrement le fichier de projet AS, en lui donnant un # ou un nom unique, afin de ne pas écraser les enregistrements précédents. L’utilisation de l’option Enregistrer les fichiers de projet (pas de SA) sera écrasée. Dans l’onglet HOME, ce choix est disponible en cliquant sur le curseur à droite du bouton Enregistrer le projet dans la barre d’outils. Chaque projet doit être enregistré avec un numéro ou un nom VPJ unique. Je ne sais pas quelle est la dernière version Français, mais la version 64 bits anglaise est ici. Une autre chose à essayer. Aller à OPTIONS | Onglet AVANCÉ (ou ÉDITION). Dans la zone GPU en bas, au lieu de « par défaut », choisissez Aucun (CPU uniquement).

In the current release, AVC import should be up to snuff.

That's a project file for WMM, much like Videopad's VPJ, and doesn't contain the source material. Don't believe that a conversion to VPJ is available. This might be useful.

Each clip may have to be positioned as above. But there are export settings to experiment with. They affect the entire project...

File a suggestion, and reference this thread. Multiple files can by synchronized, as demonstrated in an earlier post. In single sequence, sync a segment, then export. Clear the sequence, and sync the next. The resulting clips can be added to the main sequence. Processing should be efficient.

It's likely that ALL tracks are selected. That won't work. Let's say guitar on trk 1, mic on trk2, zither on trk 3.🙂 Leave one track UNselected and the others will sync to it. sync.mp4

It does seem that inserting synchronized audio as clips might be your best approach. But your workflow will ultimately determine that. Project management.🙂

That release is very dated, so it's tough to say. Try using AVI export - H264 encoder. In lieu of that install the latest version, which will be an unlicensed trial unless you pay for the upgrade. Mp4 may succeed; AVI should.

Selected clips will sync to the unselected clips. In this two-track example, an A/V clip follows a music clip. The goal is to use the sync feature to align track 1 to track two... The result... All track clips are shifted accordingly. Don't group. If other clips/tracks are not to be affected, sync each clip independently - perhaps in another sequence - then copy all <ctrl-A> <ctrl-C> and paste <ctrl-V> into the main sequence at the desired location.
