Tested three HD snaps of varying formats here and they came out fine.

Install this VP 64-bit version and see if it makes a difference.

The REVO uninstaller method is more extensive than the standard Windows uninstall.

Yet another route you might pursue.  Close Videopad.  Using Windows Explorer (the file manager), delete all files in these folders.  Then reinstall VP.

The best way to track this down is to share the project, so someone can analyze it.  Please follow the steps below and we'll check it out.

•     Back up --- With your project on the timeline, click on MENU at the top-left.  Click FILE|BACK UP PROJECT FILES TO FOLDER.  Choose a folder and SELECT FOLDER.
•     Upload ---  Use a free server - Google Drive, MS OneDrive, etc.* - to upload the saved, numbered FOLDER.    Do NOT upload the individual VPJ or export file. 
•     Get link --- Get a public link.  Right-click the file and click SHARE. When using Google Drive, if necessary change "restricted" to "anyone with the link can view" 
•     Share ---     Click COPY LINK | DONE.  Paste that link here, or click the folder at the top-right of this forum to message it privately to me.  It won't be shared.

          *    Before uploading, right-click the folder, click PROPERTIES.  Look at the File Size to confirm that it's not too big for the free space on the server.

Select all the images with <ctrl-A>.

Right-click an image and Change Clip Duration. 

Under the preview window, change the duration.  <enter>

Should not be an issue.  Place all the clips to be exported on a track in the new sequence.   Export sees all tracks in the sequence.  Tested that here via the method described above and it succeeded.

As to no video, share a clip or two that has the issue.

What version of VP is being used?  Install this one and see if that makes a difference.

Try running the attached file.

If no go, remove the program with this free utility.  Scan and select all registry files and delete them.

Then install this release and run it as Administrator by right-click the executable and choosing that option.

What version of Videopad is being used?

The current release is here.  If a license has expired after the six-month grace period, later versions can still be run as a trial.

However, if a project is built with a very recent release, it may not be compatible with some earlier versions.

It's wise to use a single release, or one close in time, to create and tweak a project.

The drawing is being added where the cursor is parked.

Advance with the button or move the effect box cursor and draw again.  In essence it's animating.

Experiment with it.

In the Clip Preview mode, draw on the preview screen with the left mouse button.  The configuration box lists choices...

Similar to what you described...

Drag the new clip to the bin.

Create a new sequence by clicking the + sign to the right of the existing sequence tab.

Drag the clip from the bin to the new sequence.

Export that sequence.

You can create multiple sequences, then export them all... 

Various releases did titled exports in different ways, as a default.

You can change the tile manually prior to export. 

Upload one of those files please.  This issue with OBS files has been reported before.  Handbrake should fix it.

The latest, as linked above, will run as a trial for a short time.  No harm in trying it.

Be aware that if you create a project with it, older releases may refuse to load it, unless a change is made to a file.

Close the program, reopen without loading anything and go to OPTIONS | DISK tab.  Clear Unused Cache Files -- then load the project.

How was the file created?  What Videopad version is being used?  Install this one.

If no success, this may be the fault of the clip itself, despite the fact that viewers may display it.

Convert it with the free Handbrake utility and see if the result loads normally.

If you share a file that has the problem it will be analyzed...

Not seeing that behavior in version 16.09 for Windows.

Audio bin is selected.  Then an audio file on the timeline is deleted.

Bin is unaffected.

Batch isn't going to help.  You might copy the timeline into multiple sequences, change only the audio track on each, then Export All Sequences.

Not seeing that in version 16.09 for Windows.  Can't check on a Mac, but is it possible that a 'click lock' is enabled for the mouse?

Here's how the export looks.  Right-click to Save Video As.

The main problem was black lettering over a black background.

Lettering was changed to white, and the font centered and reduced to size 10, to fit within the window.

That's very odd, especially for a straightforward project.

It's assumed that the video track has not been hidden   and that the text color contrasts with the black background.
