I used to have ES 5.21 (free version) on my laptop, running Windows XP. It worked great with my Infinity foot pedal for the past several years. I've recently purchased a new PC running Windows 7, and I go to download the free version of Express Scribe, and it's suddenly saying it only supports the Infinity footpedal in the Pro version. Am I missing something here? Did NCH just up and change the software to force everyone using Inifnity, the most widely used foot pedal in transcription, to buy the software???? I've been using For The Record's player for the last year because it has WAY better sound quality. However, a client recently told me that Express Scribe has improved their sound quality so I wanted to give them another try. So.....WTF????
