  1. Hi mig42, It could be a good idea to contact our support team. You can submit files and we'll be able to provide direct support for specified cases in this way. Best regards.
  2. Hi, In VideoPad, a clip in the Bin and a clip in Sequence are different things. Although they looks the same and using the same preview window. The green arrow button only given by previewing clips from the Bin. The button will create a clip in Sequence which has the same attributes (same video, in/out point etc.) as the Bin clip. Bin clips works as templates as the Sequence clips. The preview window will display both clips - you can click on(select) a clip in the Bin or in the Sequence time line to make the preview window to display the clip. When previewing a Sequence clip, the title will indicates the track of the clip in brackets, e.g. (Video Track 1). Hope this make sense. Best Regards. P.S. I know this is a bit confusing, suggestions will be appreciated.
  3. Hi jres63, We can see the time divergent more clearly with overlapping the exported sequence on top of the original sequence, and then make the top layer track 50% transparent. The frames are shifted during the entire transition duration. We are working on the issue and will get it fixed. Thanks for the information.
  4. Hi Nat, I'm thinking like this: Similar to the fast forward/backward button makes the cursor stopping at the end/start of the sequence. We add another pair of buttons that make the cursor stopping at the next/previous boundary. Best regards. Sam
  5. Thanks for the reply. I can see the problem here is that there is no way to move the time line cursor to the join exactly. We are developing some new features may help to solve this problem: A way to navigate the cursor between boundary(start/end) of the clips. Cursor snapping to clip boundary, which can be toggled on/off. Best regards.
  6. Hi Nat, Totally agree. I have no idea about the mouse wheel issue at the moment. Lets keep an eye on it and please let me know if you find anything suspicious. Best regards.
  7. Hi jrse63, I did some testing and found the frame time diverged(from the original clip) as you said. Nat's probably right, it could be some kind of numerical rounding errors. We'll further investigate the issue and get it fixed. Thanks.
  8. Hi Nat, Do you mean the zoom slider on the left of the scroll bar? I can't get this to happen. VideoPad generates a frame for every 0.04 sec (25 fps) while editing. We allow the cursor be moved in between frames because conceptually the time line is continuous(each step is 0.001 sec). i.e. The frame position will change if the frame rate is changed(when export), but the operation(split, insert etc.) position on the timeline will not change. From my testing, I can split the clip again on right side by moving the cursor by one tick(0.001 sec). But I have to move the cursor to the left side by two ticks(0.002 sec) to split the clip again. In theory we should be able to split the clip on any tick. So this is a bug. It really looks like your mouse wheel and the zoom slider are out of sync. Is it always like that? Thanks a lot for the report.
  9. Hi Palazzo, It seems you've created those tiny clips unintentionally. I'm wondering what kind of editing steps you've gone through. If we know how this happens we may be able to improve the work flow to avoid it. Best regards.
  10. Hi Nat, Thanks for the explanation. We'll fix the problem in the next release. For now, it can be workaround by overlaying the transparent clip over a black blank clip.
  11. Hi borate, I can't reproduce the problem. Could you please describe the steps to reproduce it? Thanks.
  12. You can Export the diagram to PDF or an image. ClickCharts provided many image formats you can select from.
  13. It's awkward but I think you have to use a separated text block for subscripts. Currently Clickcharts does not support special characters on Mac. PC version does though.
  14. For vertical sections, you can use some of the UML or Data Flow Diagram symbols. For example the Object with Attributes symbol in UML Diagram.
  15. ClickCharts automatically generates pages to fit the whole diagram in. Maybe there are some invisible objects (e.g. a transparent symbol) haven't been cleaned up while you re-arrange the diagram. You can try: - Pick up the invisible objects by dragging the selection box covering the empty space - Copy just the visible parts to a new diagram (use selection box instead of "Select All").
  16. The default font/style are always changed to the last selected symbol. You can click on the symbol which has the preferred style and the new symbols will be created with the same style. Best, Sam
  17. Hi Clive, When you paste, the newly pasted objects are automatically selected. Before the selection changed, you can click and drag on any selected object to move the whole lot. Best regards, Sam
  18. The symbols appear on the linked page are text characters. You can use the mouse select the symbol you needed, copy and paste into Cresendo as normal text.
  19. Hi Andy, You can change font size when *not* in the text mode. Just select the symbol and the font button will be enabled. The latest PC version has changed. A floating font style dialog will appear when in text mode to allow you to change font size etc.. Best regards, Sam
  20. Hi Melodie, "Fit to view" is only a display command that fits the entire diagram to the window. ClickCharts generates new pages automatically - when a shape or line is placed outside any existing page, new page(s) will be generated so everything is printable. Pages are indicated by solid gray lines, you can see them more clearly by hiding the snapping grid. Snapping grid can be show/hide by the small eye icon which located at the bottom of the application window, close to the zoom slider. To restrict the diagram inside one page, you can just move everything into one page area, other pages will be removed automatically as there is no objects on them. Hope this helps. Regards, Sam
  21. Hi Mark, The symbol collection will grow from time to time including new diagram catalogs. We can't create custom shapes at the moment but I agree with you that it would be useful. Like the other NCH products, ClickCharts will be improved continuously and be updated for every few months. Best regards, Sam

To change alignment of the text, select the symbol, and then click the font icon on the tool bar. There are six buttons at the bottom of the font style dialog to let you select the alignments.
