  1. Hello, The Way2Call units are the USB modems we recommend using with NCH Software Telephony products. It takes some digging through the links there on the TRx product page but they should lead you to: http://www.altoedge.com/telephony/tapi-way2call-usb-hi-phone-desktop-lite.html Regards, AltoUSA
  2. Hello, As per the FAQ here: http://www.nchsoftware.com/capture/kb/1302.html There has to be a microphone input of some sort to go along with the video feed of your webcam, either from the webcam itself (as some have a built in microphone) or one plugged into your computer. You then need to make sure that microphone device is chosen in the Audio section of the Devices tab under Options. AltoUSA
  3. Hello, You will need to create an "Audio CD" with the newly converted files. Just burning these digital files to CD will not allow a standard CD player to recognize and play. In Golden Records you will want to click on the option/button labeled "Burn Audio" to start the process of creating an actual Audio CD. AltoUSA
  4. Hello, The Program Data folder is generally "hidden". If you change your Folder Options settings to show hidden files/folders you should then be able to see the Program Data folder on your primary hard drive; typically the "C" drive. AltoUSA
  5. Hi, If you do not have a static IP (constant never changing IP) then you will need to sign up for a DDNS service. These services give you a constant web address (URL), that works along with your router to make sure you always reach your router when you type in your web address. There are many different DDNS services, I would recommend seeing which one your internet modem recommends using as most have a default choice that they are setup to use and only require you to enter the user name and password. 6. Hello, If they drop-down menu only shows your webcam device and not the USB device that the VHS is connected to then that points to the Device not being recognized by Windows. If you unplug the device and plug it back in, do you see sort of error message or installing device message in the lower right corner of your desktop in the notifications area? Opening up GoldenVideos with my EasyCap device installed, the "Video Device" is called "WDM 2861 Capture" and the "Sound Record Device" is listed as "Line (USB EMP Audio Device)" If you do not see these options, then I would ask you to unplug the device, re-download the Driver found here: http://www.altoedge.com/drivers/vidusbec/w7-64/win7.zip, unzip and run the Setup file, restart your computer and then plug the device back in to see if it is properly recognized by Windows before starting up GoldenVideos again. 7. Can you confirm that your installation is registered and shows as Licensed version? Typically the Infinity pedal will not show up if the software was not properly registered and restarted.
  8. Hello, As of May 31, 2012 the Free version of Express Scribe is only compatible with the AltoEdge USB Foot Pedal. All other standard USB Foot Pedals will still work with the Professional version of Express Scribe. This is well stated on both the NCH Software product page for Express Scribe as well as the foot pedal product pages on AltoEdge.com Regards, AltoEdge
  9. Hello, There is an option in the web interface to show the warning or not. Regards,
