do you know where i can go in order to get amr files? 3gp files use to work in wavepad, has that changed recently?

whatsup? i have the tmobile samsung t-809,and what i use to do in order to make my own ringers is download wavepad, get the music files from www.nextpimp.com, and open them in wavepad, then convert them into .3gp files....then id load them to my phone, and they would work fine as ringtone. i just got a new computer(im away on campus) and i redownloaded wavepad, but when i try to open the files in wavepad it says that it 'cant open because the file format isnt supported or the required codec or plugin is not installed.can someone please help me? i really need some new ringers and its not lettin me make them please respond

aight, i have the tmobile samsung t809, and what i did on my home computer was download songs from www.nextpimp.com and open them in wavepad, and then convert them to .3gp so i can use them as ringtones...i just got a DELL, and i tried to re-download wavepad and download the songs from nextpimp, but when i try to open the files in wavepad, it says that it cant open the file and that the format isnt supported or that the required plugin is not installed...can someone plz help or give me ideas, cause i really want sum new ringtonesss!!! thanks
