  1. I am new so excuse my ignorance, could you please put your solution in a step 1, step 2, etc. format. Susan Converting .mp4 to .mp3 using iTunes couldn't be simply. All I did was to click on the .mp4 file so that itunes started playing it. Then under the Advanced menu, there is a selection "Convert to mp3", use it. Also, it is not necessary convert to mp3 if all you want to do is to burn an audio CD, iTunes can burn a playlist directly to a CD. To do this, create a playlist of he tracks you want to burn. Pnce you have created the playlist, the "browse" icon changes to a "burn" icon, click it and you are on your way. You can use the iTunes help with the phrase "burn CD" and that will return topics on how to do this if you need additional help.. BTW, I am using iTunes v6 under OSX 10.4.7. hope that helps.
  2. Thanks, that seemed to have worked. hmmm, I think it would have been simpler if there had been a check select box on the Switch screen under the "Output folder" which when selected disables the Output folder browse folder button.
  3. Ok, you have a mac therefore you also have iTunes. You can create audio CDs directlry from iTunes w/o converting to an intermediate format. iTunes does all that for you. In fact I am doing it right now as I type this. If you have any questions about how to do this in iTunes, just type "burn CD" in the Q box. The mac will take you from there.
  4. I am using Switch (free version) 1.05 for Mac OSX 10.4.7 on an Intel Duo Core Macbook. I noticed in the future feature forum that I should be able to have the output go directly to the same directory as the input files. "Moderator Note: This feature is already in the software, select the output folder [same as source file]" However I don't see how to do that in my version of Switch. Any help is greatly appreciated. Otherwise a great app and exactly what I was looking for. Thanks. update: perhaps I am misunderstanding how this is supposed to work. Of course I can select the same output directory as the input directory. However what I would like to do is to be able to select several folders for input using the "add folder" button. Then as the conversion procedes, each folder's content is converted within the same folder. At least that is how I would like Switch to work.
